1 million euros for a Nissan and Italdesign supercar

First buyers will receive their cars at the end of 2020 or the beginning of 2021.

Nissan and Italian bodybuilder Italdesign have unveiled the final production version of the GT-R50 supercar. Prices for the car, which will be released in a limited edition of 50 copies, will start from 990 thousand euros.

Italdesign's Nissan GT-R50 was unveiled in the summer of 2018 at the UK Goodwood Speed ​​Festival to mark the 50th anniversary of the original Nissan GT-R. The Italians developed for the car based on the modern GT-R coupe, a unique body with gold elements, a new hood with other air intakes, a lowered roof line and narrower rear windows.

In addition, the supercar gets a completely different optics, as well as the optional large wing. The interior used carbon, genuine leather and Alcantara.

The supercar is equipped with an upgraded 3,8-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine that develops 720 hp. and 780 Nm of torque - at 120 hp. and 87 Nm more than the regular GT-R. The engine is mated to an advanced six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

The engine uses larger turbochargers, a reinforced crankshaft, pistons and upgraded oil nozzles. In addition to all the improvements, the injection system as well as the intake and exhaust pipes have been improved.

Italdesign’s Nissan GT-R50 costs around € 990, which is almost five times more expensive than the regular Nissan GT-R Nismo. First buyers will receive their cars at the end of 000 or the beginning of 2020.
