The A4 Allroad version is more comfortable on slippery and uneven surfaces, but above all, it has more charm.

APPEALSexier than the standard Audi A4, but also more meaningful
TECHNOLOGICAL CONTENTAudi's virtual cockpit and infotainment system satisfy both the design and the interface. Some special effects are missing
DRIVING PLEASUREExtremely quiet, agile in corners and soft in the pits. It makes you want to drive for many kilometers, but lacks a bit of character between the bends.
SPECIAL PARTSThe curved wheel arches and underbody reinforcement at the front and rear make the Audi A4 a more muscular and special vehicle.

There is something from radical chic in the word "Allroad". A name that evokes an adventure, a signature that makesAudi A4 more special. I wonder how many customers really want higher settings, underbody protection, pronounced mudguards. But do you know what? It doesn't matter, because on the outside it looks really special, even if a little dusty.

The version I am running is 2.0 TDI 190 hp, obviously with the all-wheel drive "quattro", which is rightfully the only choice for the Allroad version.

At starting price 48.866 euro it is also more expensive than the standard version, but not much equipped. As we have been taught by premium German homes, if you want it to be well decorated, you have to go a long way from the list price. Many of the amenities we find standard on compact C-segment general-purpose vehicles are optional here.

First kilometers with Allroad

The interior is the same as that of the standard Audi A4, one of the most successful in the range. I really like the driving position where the steering wheel comes out, almost racing, and the seat drops down and lets you find the sunken seat. In full Audi style, the steering is light and straightforward, very “video game”, but really enjoyable in everyday driving.

There isn't much of a difference in driving over the regular A4, except for the fact that the dampers seem to be more efficient at digesting bumps, so much so that on softer settings it feels like riding on a cloud. IN 2.0 TDI engine 190 hp e 400 Nm of torque It has a linear flow and lacks breath at high revs, but it is quiet, responsive and above all, it has the power where the guide needs it, at the bottom of the tachometer. It also guarantees performance that matches its numbers, including through always flawless performance. Cambio S Tronic almost impossible to blame.

I speak,Audi A4 Allroad it has a guide that accurately reflects its appearance: slightly raised and slightly softer.

Dynamics on the road

Modality dynamic a selected and mixed mountain shuffles the cards in the game. Even in the sportiest modeAudi A4 Allroad stays soft, comfortable and completely ignores potholes.

It is true steering becomes more consistent - but always lighter - andthe trim stretches a little, but his behavior remains the same. This is a car neutral, balanced and with an all-wheel-drive system that effectively pulls you out of corners but leaves little room for the enjoyment of sporty driving. The rear helps you stick in and there is a little understeer, but the steering is slightly off (also due to bus Winter) does not tempt you into sporty driving.

This is a car that beckons you a long way, is enjoyable in any situation and is less afraid of dirt than the standard A4. But above all, it has a more special aspect.
