The new Audi RS5 is missing two cylinders, but they are not to be regretted. The engine has a lot of torque, pushes like a train and has a thrilling sound. But the real surprise is the frame, which is more responsive, precise and lightweight. The quattro all-wheel drive then pulls further and allows you to play more with the car, while at the same time making the RS5 more versatile than its rear-wheel drive rivals.
In short, even if she is not yet an optimistic athlete, she has improved a lot, even in terms of driving.
First Audi RS5 It was a great car, equipped with a superb naturally aspirated V8 engine and capable of delivering remarkable performance, but at the same time it was not particularly impressive due to its pronounced understeer and its "coldness". And the lack of emotion, you know, is not good for a sports car. It's hard to imagine that with a smaller engine, two smaller cylinders and the same power, the new Audi RS5 maybe a better car. But maybe the Germans from Ingolstadt pulled the rabbit out of the hat.
Looking at him from the outside, he has lost some of his personality, but he is really beautiful. She is muscular, toned, maybe even a little minimalist, and gets more attention than I expected.
As I said, the engine under the hood 2.9 V6 Turbo liters inherited from S5 and Panamera. It produces 450 resumes, the same as the old V8, but it boasts 600 Nm of torque starting from 1.900 rpm. Perhaps the old V8 was prettier on the tach end, but this 2.9 is a fantastic replacement.

It is a much more exciting vehicle than its predecessor: more faster, more accurate, more accurate... And finally, even more oversteer. You can provoke the gods if you want oversteer, but you need a right angle curve and plenty of space. In fact, the traction is really great and you have to push a lot on the gas to trigger the cross, but knowing it can paint black commas with the rear wheels lifts your spirits.

LIFE ON BOARD

Audi reached the level perceived quality which borders on perfection, and it is really difficult to find fault with the interior. Access to the rear seats is not very easy, but there is plenty of room for the head and legs of two adults on sweaty faces. The chapter on accessories and luxury is too long and starts with the color head-up display and goes down to the stereo. Bang & Olufsen... The only problem is that it is really easy to get ten or even twenty thousand euros from the starting price.
PRICE AND EXPENSES
TheAudi RS5 It has price price list di 89.900 euros, on a par with competitors. As the RS version, the equipment is already satisfactory, even if, as I said, it is easy to surpass € 100.000 (there are almost inevitable accessories and others very greedy), but the same sails for the competition. Consumption is good, given the power and weight: with a careful ride on one liter, we managed to drive 13 km.
SECURITY
ВAudi RS5 boasts collision warning, collision assist brake, lane departure warning and all airbags in the world. Optionally, there is also a system automatic lane keeping and a road sign reading system.
