Safe way to school. Basic Rules
With the start of the new academic year 2020/2021, students are returning to school. After a long break, you should expect increased traffic near educational institutions.
In the last weeks of the summer holidays, employees checked the condition of road markings and warning devices. When irregularities were found, letters were sent to road managers with a request to eliminate irregularities or supplement the markings.
Police patrols serving on school grounds will pay attention to any inappropriate behavior of road users, both drivers and pedestrians. They will remind and inform vehicle drivers to take extra care when crossing a pedestrian crossing and when inspecting the road and its surroundings. The uniform will also focus on whether vehicles stopping at schools are threatening or obstructing traffic safety, and how children are transported.

- the child imitates your behavior, so set a good example,
- make sure that the child on the road is visible to drivers of vehicles,
- teach and remind the rules of the correct movement on the road.
Driver:
- transport a child in a car in accordance with the rules,
- take the child out of the car from the sidewalk or curb,
- be careful near schools and educational institutions, especially before pedestrian crossings.
Teacher:
- show children a safe world, including in the field of traffic,
- to teach children to consciously and responsibly participate in traffic.
