BMW F800 Stunt

  • Video: BMW stuntman

This was not the first time I tested the car in a short time, and if I returned the wreckage, the owner would probably break my nose and the bike was not secured yet. Then you just drive slowly, with a 200% power reserve, just so that something doesn't go wrong. But hey, this is a stunt machine. A car to do all those things that would make a cop on the road write out a bill of lading at best, if not confiscate two bicycles and shove the driver into a van.

Nothing - it was necessary to ride on a distinctly saddled (so that Pfeiffer could ride on the rear wheel without armrests) seat and open the throttle.

The wide handlebar is positioned very high and rather far from the driver. Thus, control over what is happening is guaranteed. I am driving along the Logatec trail, which is familiar to me two years ago, when the guys and I fought with a 125 cc Tomos. Carniolan Globe. I turn on the gas in first gear, the rear wheel is spinning wildly into neutral, and the lock is already buzzing from the Akrapovich's boiler.

Second gear - the engine is still accelerating from power, there is simply no contact with the ground. Bad! The front pulley is seven teeth smaller, the rear, if memory serves, nine teeth more. Therefore, the gears are extremely short, the final speed must be less than 150 kilometers per hour, otherwise such a BMW “twists” more than 200.

The action will have to start slowly, I tell myself, and put the matter on the rear wheel. The first gear is a little short, the engine reacts too aggressively to the throttle turns. I close the throttle and bam, driving the first fork into the ground. This is a heavier car, as I imagined at Pfeiffer's speech. When he rides on it, everything looks so simple, easy. After several attempts, I already manage to keep the front wheel in the air well, so I'll have to try something new. The front brakes grip great and the brake lever is flawless, so stopping on the front wheel is a force to be reckoned with. Peter, this time in the role of a photographer, shouts: “You know, let's seduce again! "Okay, I will."

Then I try a small lever with which you can adjust the idle speed while riding and thus let the motorcycle go on its own. Chris helps himself with this when he rides with his hands on the rear wheel, I just had to get on the seat. There was not enough time to learn how to use the rear brake lever (pedal and lever cannot be used at the same time), which is located on the left side of the steering wheel next to the clutch, such innovations require more practice. But I stepped on the iron behind the seat with my right foot and lifted the frame onto the rear wheel. Hey, it's that simple! It's amazing how easy it is to control balance by simply shifting your weight between your left and right feet.

I would still "afnal". About an hour the same day, and the next day again and again.

When you see how a person can master a machine, when you succeed in a new trick, you get complete satisfaction. Aaa, and the gurgle of an in-line two-cylinder when the gas is turned off. ... Hood machine, bemfl tale. Are you wondering what pleased me the most? The moment I returned the kiss in front of the Pfeiffer trailer.

That BMW is only for old "photos", travelers and babies who don't need a grandfather all over the world? Times are changing and the Germans are aggressively invading areas that until recently were unknown to them. Young and young at heart, the factory from Bavaria could not count on it yet!
