BMW iX (i20) – impressions after first contact [YouTube]

The BMW iX is an E-segment electric crossover, the first electric vehicle of its size in the BMW lineup and a competitor to the Audi e-tron and Tesla Model X. Videos describing the impressions of contact with the car appeared on several YouTube channels. The meetings did not last long, but we already have the first conclusions about the model.

Although the design of the car was considered controversial, there were voices that BMW iX looks better live than in photos... The Dutch Auto Weeka journalist noted that on the side the silhouette looks more like a minivan (MPV) than SUV. Various shots show that the iX is a crossover and not an SUV, which was probably due to the struggle for the lowest possible air resistance:

Compared to the BMW X5, which gives the driver the impression that he is driving in the center of the car, the driver's position in the BMW iX was slightly higher.

The rear seat reportedly offered plenty of room, and a look at the rear wing also suggests a lot of luggage space. And then disappointment can come, because Luggage compartment BMW iX only have 500 liters (1 liter with folded backs), that is, less than cars of the same class or even two classes less.
