BYD Qin 100, which appeared in 2016, is a restyled version of the first generation of Qing. The number in the model name indicates the range when switched to full electric drive. Externally, this car differs from the pre-styling model only in the radiator grille and the modified front bumper. At the stern, the headlights of an unusual shape, characteristic of this model range, remained with illuminated inserts, which also pass through the trunk lid.

Increasing the power reserve on a single charge at BYD Qin 100 2016 was due to the fact that the hybrid installation was slightly modified. The main thing here was the same 1.5-liter gasoline engine, equipped with a turbocharger. Its fuel system is of the direct injection type, and the timing mechanism has a phase change mechanism. Combines a hybrid with a 6-speed robotic variant of the preselection box (2 clutches).
