TECH SPECS:
The line of engines for the 2018 Chevrolet Silverado has been supplemented with a 2.7-liter ICE equipped with a turbocharger. The rest of the units that were used in previous models are the upgraded V8 of 5.3 and 6.2 liters (they can turn off a different number of cylinders depending on the load), a diesel 3.0-liter Duramax, a 6-liter V4.3. and V8 5.3 liters. The last two motors are equipped with a system that can deactivate half of the cylinders.
