Thanks to this, you get sound, torque, power, in a word - prestige. Namely, we cannot imagine that on a business trip the director would always push at full power just to have a 1-ton machine catch the flow of traffic, and at the same time curse the moped riders who had difficulty overtaking them. . You? !! ?

The new engine turned out to be more powerful in terms of torque, and to a lesser extent with noise protection (before that we tested it on the Peugeot 607, where it is quieter, since the dry figures of our measurements say that it is quieter by decibels at 90 km / h in Peugeot, 130 km / h for two) and synchronization with a six-speed transmission. The engine and gearbox did not work harmoniously, harmoniously, so the mechanics forced us to take our time. ...

In fact, the Citroën C5 was screaming to relax, shift to D and enjoy some good music, because on a rough right foot, the gearbox is too hesitant, the engine wastes too much and is generally straining to make the passengers more dynamic. more than just a headache. For a quieter and softer ride, you will be pampered with an active chassis (third generation Hydractive system, where you can also adjust the height of the car from the ground), a very indirect steering system (interfering on slippery pavement, very tireless in everyday driving), soft seats (for people , who have problems with the spine, but do not want gadgets that distract from TV advertising) and - ha, maybe even the most important thing - the amount of electrical equipment.

Electric windows, parking sensors, switchable ESP, automatic air conditioning, CD radio, trip computer, dimmed lights with ignition key to safely reach the car at night. ... What do you think others have? What about vibration in the driver's seat when driving along one of the longitudinal lines? The system is switchable, but designed for those who travel a lot and like to overdo it with the time spent behind the wheel. This should prevent the driver from falling asleep while driving, even though our system worked once, not the second, and each time we were a little afraid of the undeclared massage. ...

The Citroën C5 is comfortable, especially among the larger ones, and worth picking up as such. You can't go wrong with this engine, and the transmission needs some tweaking (such as the miniature display of the current gear being completely unnoticeable in sunny weather), and Citroën will go to great lengths to ensure build quality. Our C5 was separated from the others by a rear wiper that separated from the rear window at higher speeds, and a box under the steering wheel that was hard to open. But, as the smart ones say, perfection is boring, and you can take solace in the fact that only your car has these "features"!
