Phone holder for the meter while driving in the Tesla Model 3 - a hit or a kit?
The German decided to equip his Tesla Model 3 with a traditional meter, at least in a way. To avoid experimenting with constant modifications, he decided to use a handle attached to the air conditioner jack into which he installed a regular telephone. Looks ... looks like.
Tesla Model 3 Driving Counters and Discussion of Ergonomics and Aesthetics
Behind the wheel, both the mount and the phone look like they belong in another car. The rectangular blue "0" looks like a working app against the beautiful sans-serif fonts seen on the car's home screen - although it should be added that it matches the "carbon" steering wheel trim.
However, under the post there was a - sometimes surprising - discussion that the solution is ugly, and the driver must hate the car to disfigure it so much. When a comment was made in defense of the creator of the branch that THIS is the place of counters, voices were immediately heard that reading the clock located directly behind the wheel is not an ergonomic solution.
One Internet user who "has a driver's license for several years" liked the factory solution used in the Tesla Model 3: the speed and controls are displayed in the "P" position. Or otherwise: there was no shortage of classic meters... This suggests that the Tesla Model 3 display, as well as the speedometer known from older versions of the Toyota Yaris or Mini, are not as scary as they are painted.
The cost of a similar holder on Ali Express ranges from ten to more than twenty euros, depending on the version and the seller. There is no identical solution - it seems that the theme author designed and made himself.
Tesla Roadster is delayed, there will be Cybertruck and Semi. 2022? 2023? Maybe 2025?
