33.1

Warning signs

1.1 "Dangerous turn to the right."

1.2 "Dangerous turn to the left." Signs 1.1 and 1.2 warn of curvature of the road with a radius of less than 500 m outside of settlements and less than 150 m in settlements or of curvature with limited visibility.

1.3.1, 1.3.2 "Several turns". A road section with two or more dangerous turns located one after another: 1.3.1 - with the first turn to the right, 1.3.2 - with the first turn to the left.

1.4.1, 1.4.2, 1.4.3 "Direction of rotation". Signs (1.4.1 - movement to the right, 1.4.2 - movement to the left) show the direction of turning the road indicated by signs 1.1 and 1.2, the direction of bypassing obstacles on the road, and sign 1.4.1, in addition, - the direction of bypassing the center roundabout; sign 1.4.3 (movement to the right or to the left) shows the direction of movement at T-shaped intersections, road forks or bypasses of the road section being repaired.

1.5.1, 1.5.2, 1.5.3 “Narrowing of the road”. Sign 1.5.1 - narrowing of the road on both sides, 1.5.2 - on the right, 1.5.3 - on the left side.

 1.6 "Steep climb."

 1.7 "Steep descent." Signs 1.6 and 1.7 warn of approaching the ascent or descent, on which the requirements of section 28 of these Rules apply.

 1.8 "Departure to the embankment or the shore." Departure to the shore of the reservoir, including the ferry (applies with a plate 7.11)

1.9 “The Tunnel”. Approaching a structure that does not have artificial lighting, whose visibility of the entrance portal is limited or the roadway is narrowed at the entrance to it.

1.10 “Rough road”. A section of the road that has irregularities in the carriageway - undulations, flows, swelling.

1.11 "Hill". A section of road with bumps, influxes or non-smooth conjugation of bridge structures. The sign can also be used in front of artificially created mounds in places where it is necessary to forcibly limit the speed of vehicles (dangerous exits from adjoining territories, places with heavy traffic of children across the road, etc.)

 1.12 "Pothole." A section of road with potholes or subsidence of the road surface on the carriageway.

1.13 “Slippery road”. A section of road with increased slippery of the carriageway.

1.14 "Emission of stone materials." A section of the road where gravel, crushed stone, etc. may be ejected from under the wheels of vehicles.

1.15 "Dangerous roadside." The raised, understated, destroyed roadside or roadside on which repair work is carried out.

 1.16 "Falling stones." A section of the road where stones can fall, landslides, landslides.

1.17 "Side wind." A section of road where strong lateral wind or sudden gusts are possible.

1.18 "Low-flying aircraft." A stretch of road near an aerodrome or over which planes or helicopters fly at low altitude.

1.24 "Traffic light regulation." Crossroads, pedestrian crossings or stretches of road where traffic is regulated by a traffic light.

1.25 "Drawbridge". Approaching a drawbridge.

1.26 "Two-way traffic." The beginning of the road section (carriageway) with oncoming traffic after one-way.

 1.27 "Railway crossing with a barrier."

1.28 "Railway crossing without a barrier."

1.29 "Single track railway." Designation of a one-way railway crossing not equipped with a barrier.

 1.30 "Multi-track railway." Designation of a railroad crossing not equipped with a barrier with two or more ways.

1.31.1, 1.31.2, 1.31.3, 1.31.4, 1.31.5, 1.31.6 “Approaching the railway crossing”. An additional warning about approaching a railway crossing outside settlements.

1.32 “Crosswalk”. Approaching an unregulated pedestrian crossing indicated by appropriate traffic signs or road markings.

1.33 "Children." A section of the road where it is possible for children to appear from the territory of a child care institution (preschool, school, health camp, etc.), which adjoins directly to the road.

1.34 "Departure of cyclists." The section of the road where cyclists may appear, or the intersection with the bike path outside the intersection.

1.35 "Livestock driving." A section of road where livestock may appear.

1.36 "Wild animals." A section of the road where wild animals may appear.

1.37 "Road works." The section of road on which the road works are carried out.

1.38 "Congestion in traffic." A section of the road where a narrowing of the carriageway causes traffic congestion due to road works or other reasons.

1.39 "Other danger (emergency hazardous area)." A dangerous section of the road in places where the width of the carriageway, the radii of curvature, etc. do not meet the requirements of building codes, as well as the place or section of concentration of traffic accidents.

In the case of the installation of sign 1.39 in places or areas of concentration of traffic accidents, depending on the type of hazard, signs 7.21.1, 7.21.2, 7.21.3, 7.21.4 must be installed with the sign;

1.40 "End of the road with improved pavement." Transition of an improved paved road to a gravel or dirt road.

Warning signs, with the exception of signs 1.4.1, 1.4.2, 1.4.3, 1.29, 1.30, 1.31.1, 1.31.2, 1.31.3, 1.31.4, 1.31.5, 1.31.6 are installed outside settlements a distance of 150-300 m, in settlements - at a distance of 50-100 m before the start of the hazardous area. If necessary, the signs are installed at a different distance, which is indicated on the plate 7.1.1.

Signs 1.6 and 1.7 are installed immediately before the start of the ascents or descents, located one after the other.

On signs 1.23.1, 1.23.2, 1.23.3, 1.23.4, the image of the junctions corresponds to the actual configuration of the intersection.

Signs 1.23.3 and 1.23.4 are installed when the distance between the junctions of secondary roads is less than 50 m in settlements and 100 m outside them.

Signs 1.29 and 1.30 are installed immediately in front of the railway crossing.

Sign 1.31.1 is installed with the first (main) sign 1.27 or 1.28 in the direction of travel, sign 1.31.4 - with a duplicate sign, which is installed on the left side of the carriageway, signs 1.31.3 and 1.31.6 - with the second sign 1.27 or 1.28, signs 1.31.2 and 1.31.5 independently (at an equal distance between the first and second signs 1.27 or 1.28).

Sign 1.37 can be installed at a distance of 10-15m. from the place of performance of short-term works on the roadway in the village.

Outside settlements signs 1.8, 1.13, 1.14, 1.15, 1.16, 1.25, 1.27, 1.28, 1.33 and 1.37, and in settlements signs 1.33 and 1.37 are repeated. The next sign is installed at a distance of at least 50 m before the start of the dangerous section.

Signs 1.10, 1.12, 1.14, 1.15, 1.37 and 1.38 are temporary and are installed for the period necessary to perform the relevant work on the road.

33.2

Priority signs

2.1 "Give way". The driver must give way to vehicles approaching an unregulated intersection on the main road, and if there is a sign 7.8 - to vehicles moving along the main road.

2.2 "Travel without stopping is prohibited." It is forbidden to travel without stopping before marking 1.12 (stop-line), and if it is absent, before the sign.

It is necessary to give way to vehicles moving on the crossed road, and if there is a sign 7.8 - to vehicles moving along the main road, as well as on the right along an equivalent road.

2.3 “Main road”. The right of priority is given to unregulated intersections.

2.4 "End of the main road." The right of priority to unregulated intersections is canceled.

2.5 "The advantage of oncoming traffic." It is forbidden to enter a narrow section of the road if this can hamper oncoming traffic. The driver must give way to oncoming vehicles located in a narrow section.

2.6 "Advantage over oncoming traffic." A narrow section of the road during which the driver has an advantage over oncoming vehicles.

Signs 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 2.5 and 2.6 are installed immediately in front of an intersection or a narrow section of the road, in addition, sign 2.3 is at the beginning, and sign 2.4 is at the end of the main road. Sign 2.3 with plate 7.8 must be repeated before the intersection, at which the main road changes its direction.

Outside settlements, on paved roads, sign 2.1 is repeated with additional sign 7.1.1. If sign 2.2 is installed immediately before the intersection, then sign 2.1 with additional sign 7.1.2 must precede it.

If sign 2.2 is installed in front of a railway crossing, which is not guarded and is not equipped with traffic light signals, the driver must stop in front of the stop line, and because of its absence - in front of this sign.

33.3

Prohibition signs

 3.1 “No traffic”. It is forbidden to move all vehicles in cases when:

    • the beginning of the pedestrian zone is marked with sign 5.33;
    • the road and (or) the street is in disrepair and unsuitable for the movement of vehicles; in this case, sign 3.43 is additionally established.

 3.2 "The movement of motor vehicles is prohibited."

 3.3 "The movement of trucks is prohibited." The movement of trucks and convoys of vehicles with a permissible maximum mass exceeding 3,5 tons (if the weight is not indicated on the sign) or exceeding that indicated on the sign, as well as tractors, self-propelled machines and mechanisms, is prohibited.

 3.4 "Trailer prohibited." It is forbidden to move trucks and tractors with trailers of any type, as well as towing motor vehicles.

 3.5 "Tractors are prohibited." It is forbidden to move tractors, self-propelled machines and mechanisms.

 3.6 "Motorcycle traffic is prohibited."

 3.7 "Mopeds are prohibited." Driving on mopeds and outboard bicycles is prohibited.

 3.8 "No bicycles allowed."

 3.9 "Pedestrian traffic is prohibited."

 3.10 "Movement with hand carts is prohibited."

 3.11 "The movement of horse-drawn carts (sleds) is prohibited." It is forbidden to move horse-drawn carts (sleds), animals under a saddle or pack, or drive cattle.

 3.12 "The movement of vehicles carrying dangerous goods is prohibited."

 3.13 "The movement of vehicles carrying explosives is prohibited."

 3.14 "The movement of vehicles carrying substances that pollute water is prohibited."

 3.15 "The movement of vehicles whose mass exceeds ... t is prohibited." The movement of vehicles, including their compositions, the total actual mass of which exceeds that indicated on the sign, is prohibited.

 3.16 "The movement of vehicles whose axle load exceeds ... t is prohibited." It is forbidden to drive vehicles in which the actual load on any axis is greater than that indicated on the sign.

 3.17 "The movement of vehicles whose width exceeds ... m is prohibited." It is forbidden to drive vehicles whose overall width (with or without cargo) is greater than that indicated on the sign.

 3.18 "The movement of vehicles whose height exceeds ... m is prohibited." It is forbidden to drive vehicles whose overall height (with or without cargo) is greater than that indicated on the sign.

 3.19 "The movement of vehicles whose length exceeds ... m is prohibited." The movement of vehicles whose overall length (with or without cargo) is prohibited is greater than that indicated on the sign.

 3.20 "The movement of vehicles without observing the distance ... m is prohibited." It is forbidden to drive vehicles with a distance between them less than indicated on the sign.

 3.21 "Entry prohibited." All vehicles are forbidden to:

    • preventing oncoming traffic of vehicles on sections of roads with one-way traffic;
    • preventing vehicles from leaving towards the general flow on the roads marked with sign 5.8;
    • the organization of a separate entrance and exit on the sites used for parking vehicles, recreation areas, gas stations, etc .;
    • prevent entry into a separate lane, while sign 3.21 should be used along with plate 7.9.
    • prevent entry to roads that directly extend within the border strip to the state border and do not allow the established checkpoints to cross the state border (except agricultural machinery, other vehicles and mechanisms involved in production in accordance with the law and if there are appropriate legal grounds of agricultural activity or other work, emergency response and their consequences, as well as trans sports facilities of the Armed Forces, the National Guard, the Security Service of Ukraine, the State Border Guard Service, the State Fire Service, the State Fire Service, the Civil Rescue Operative and Rescue Service, the National Police and the prosecution authorities in the performance of operational and official tasks).

 3.22 "Turning to the right is prohibited."

 3.23 "Turning to the left is prohibited." Do not turn left vehicles. In this case, a U-turn is permitted.

 3.24 "U-turn is prohibited." U-turns of vehicles are prohibited. In this case, a left turn is permitted.

 3.25 "Overtaking is prohibited." It is forbidden to overtake all vehicles (except single vehicles moving at a speed of less than 30 km / h).

 3.26 "End of the prohibition of overtaking."

 3.27 "No overtaking by trucks" . It is forbidden for trucks with a permitted maximum mass of over 3,5 t to overtake all vehicles (except single vehicles traveling at a speed of less than 30 km / h). Tractors are forbidden to overtake all vehicles except single bikes, horse-drawn carts (sleds).

 3.28 "End of the prohibition of overtaking by trucks."

 3.29 "Maximum speed limit". It is forbidden to drive at a speed exceeding that indicated on the sign.

 3.30 "End of maximum speed limit."

 3.31 "Zone of maximum speed limit." It is forbidden in the zone (settlement, microdistrict, recreation area, etc.) to move at a speed exceeding that indicated on the sign.

 3.32 "End of maximum speed limit zone."

 3.33 "The sound signal is prohibited." It is forbidden to use sound signals outside settlements, unless it is impossible to avoid a traffic accident without it.

 3.34 "Stop is prohibited." It is forbidden to stop and park vehicles, except for a taxi carrying out boarding or disembarking of passengers (unloading or loading of cargo).

 3.35 "Parking is prohibited." It is forbidden to park all vehicles.

 3.36 "Parking is prohibited on odd days of the month."

 3.37 "Parking is prohibited on even days of the month."

 3.38 "Limited parking zone." Determines the territory in the settlement where the duration of parking is limited, regardless of whether a fee is charged for it. At the bottom of the sign, the conditions for restricting parking may be indicated. Where appropriate, the sign or additional plates 7.4.1, 7.4.2, 7.4.3, 7.4.4, 7.4.5, 7.4.6, 7.4.7, 7.19 indicate the days and times of the day during which the restriction is in effect, and See also its terms.

It is forbidden to park in the designated area longer than that indicated on the plates 7.4.1, 7.4.2, 7.4.3, 7.4.4, 7.4.5, 7.4.6, 7.4.7, 7.19.

 3.39 "End of restricted parking area."

 3.40 "Customs". It is forbidden to travel without stopping at the customs.

 3.41 “Control”. It is forbidden to travel without stopping in front of checkpoints (National Police post, quarantine post, border zone, closed territory, toll payment point, etc.).

It is applied only under the condition of a mandatory step-by-step speed limit by preliminary establishing the required number of signs 3.29 and (or) 3.31 in accordance with paragraph 12.10 of these Rules.

 3.42 "The end of all prohibitions and restrictions." Determines at the same time the end of all prohibitions and restrictions imposed by prohibitory traffic signs 3.20, 3.25, 3.27, 3.29, 3.33, 3.34, 3.35, 3.36, 3.37.

 3.43 “Danger”. It prohibits the movement of all, without exception, users of roads, streets, railway crossings in connection with a traffic accident, accident, natural disaster or other danger to traffic (ground moving, falling stones, heavy snowfall, floods, etc.).

Signs do not apply:

3.1, 3.2, 3.21, 3.22, 3.23, 3.24, 3.34 - for vehicles moving along established routes;

3.1, 3.2, 3.35, 3.36, 3.37, 3.38, as well as sign 3.34 if there is a sign under it 7.18 for drivers with disabilities who drive a motorized stroller or a car marked with the "Driver with disabilities" identification mark, for drivers who transport passengers with disabilities , subject to availability of documents confirming the passenger's disability (except for passengers with obvious signs of disability)

3.1, 3.2, 3.3, 3.4, 3.5, 3.6, 3.7, 3.8, 3.11 - on vehicles serving citizens or belonging to citizens who live or work in this zone, as well as on vehicles serving enterprises located in the designated zone . In such cases, vehicles must enter and leave the designated area at the nearest intersection to their destination;

3.3 - for trucks that have an inclined white stripe on the outer side surface or carry groups of people;

3.35, 3.36, 3.37, 3.38 - by taxi with the taximeter turned on.

The action of signs 3.22, 3.23, 3.24 applies to intersections of carriageways and other places in front of which one of these signs is installed.

The range of signs 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, 3.4, 3.5, 3.6, 3.7, 3.8, 3.9, 3.10, 3.11, 3.12, 3.13, 3.14, 3.15, 3.19, 3.20, 3.21, 3.25, 3.27, 3.29, 3.33, 3.34, 3.35 , 3.36, 3.37 - from the installation site to the nearest intersection behind it, and in settlements where there are no intersections - to the end of the settlement. The signs are not interrupted at the exit points from the territories adjacent to the road and at the intersections (junctions) with field, forest and other uncoated roads, before which priority signs are not installed.

In the case of prohibition of traffic on road sections marked with signs 3.17, 3.18, 3.19, detour should be carried out on a different route.

Signs 3.31 and 3.38 apply to the entire relevant area.

The signs 3.9, 3.10, 3.34, 3.35, 3.36, 3.37 apply only to the side of the road on which they are installed.

Sign 3.16 applies to the road (section of road) at the beginning of which this sign is installed.

The action of signs 3.17, 3.18 extends to the place in front of which this sign is installed.

The action of the sign 3.29, established in front of the settlement indicated by the sign 5.45, extends to this sign.

In the case of simultaneous use of signs 3.36 and 3.37, the time for rearranging vehicles from one side of the road to the other is from 19:24 to XNUMX:XNUMX.

Sign coverage may be reduced:

for signs 3.20 and 3.33 - using plate 7.2.1.

for signs 3.25, 3.27, 3.29, 3.31, 3.38 - installation at the end of their coverage area, respectively, of signs 3.26, 3.28, 3.30, 3.32, 3.39;

for sign 3.29 - a change in the sign of the magnitude of the maximum speed;

for signs 3.34, 3.35, 3.36, 3.37 - the plate 7.2.2.

at the beginning of the coverage area, as well as installing duplicate signs 3.34, 3.35, 3.36, 3.37 at the end of their coverage area with a 7.2.3 sign.

Sign 3.34 can be used in conjunction with markings 1.4, sign 3.35 - with markings 1.10.1, while their coverage area is determined by the length of the marking line.

In the event that the movement of vehicles and pedestrians is prohibited by signs 3.5, 3.6, 3.7, 3.8, 3.9, 3.10, 3.11, no more than three of their symbols, separated from each other, can be applied to one sign.

33.4

Mandatory signs

 4.1. "Straight ahead."

 4.2 "Move to the right."

 4.3 “Move to the left”.

Movement only in the directions indicated by arrows on signs 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 4.4, 4.5, 4.6.

 4.7 "Avoidance on the right side."

 4.8 "Avoiding the obstacle on the left side." A detour only from the side indicated by the arrow on signs 4.7 and 4.8.

 4.9 "Avoiding obstacles on the right or left side."

 4.10 “Circular motion”. It requires a detour of the flowerbed (central islet) in the direction shown by the arrows at the roundabout.

 4.11 "The movement of cars." Only cars, buses, motorbikes, fixed-route vehicles and trucks are allowed, the permissible maximum mass of which does not exceed 3,5 tons.

 4.12 "Path for cyclists." Traffic only on bicycles. If there is no sidewalk or footpath, pedestrians are also allowed.

 4.13 "Path for pedestrians." Pedestrian traffic only.

 4.14 "Path for pedestrians and cyclists." The movement of pedestrians and cyclists.

 4.15 "Track for riders." The movement is only riders.

 4.16 "Limitation of the minimum speed." Movement with no less speed than indicated on the sign, but no more than that stipulated by clauses 12.4, 12.5, 12.6, 12.7 of these Rules.

 4.17 "End of minimum speed limit."

 4.18.1,  4.18.2, 4.18.3 “Direction of movement of vehicles with dangerous goods”shows the permitted direction of movement of vehicles with the identification sign "Danger sign".

Signs 4.3, 4.5 and 4.6 also permit turning of vehicles.

Signs 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 4.4, 4.5, 4.6 do not apply to vehicles moving along the established routes. Signs 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 4.4, 4.5, 4.6 apply to the intersection of carriageways in front of which they are installed. Sign 4.1, installed at the beginning of the road or behind the intersection, applies to the section of the road to the nearest intersection. The sign does not prohibit turning to the right into courtyards and other territories adjacent to the road.

Sign 4.11 does not apply to vehicles serving citizens or belonging to citizens who live or work in the designated area, as well as vehicles serving enterprises located in this area. In such cases, vehicles must enter and exit the designated area at the nearest intersection to their destination.

33.5

Information signs

 5.1 "Motorway". A road on which special traffic conditions are provided for in Section 27 of these Rules.

 5.2 “End of the motorway”.

 5.3 "Road for cars." A road on which special traffic conditions are provided for by Section 27 of these Rules (with the exception of paragraph 27.3 of these Rules).

 5.4 “End of road for cars”.

 5.5 "One-way road." A road or a separate carriageway along which the movement of vehicles across the entire width is carried out in only one direction.

 5.6 “End of one-way road”.

 5.7.1, 5.7.2 "Exit to a one-way road". Indicate the direction of movement on the intersected road, if one-way traffic is organized on it. The movement of vehicles on this road or carriageway is permitted only in the direction shown by the arrow.

 5.8 "Road with a lane for the movement of block vehicles." The road on which the movement of vehicles is carried out along the established route along a specially designated lane towards the general flow of vehicles.

 5.9 "End of the road with a lane for the movement of block vehicles."

 5.10.1, 5.10.2 "Entering the road with a lane for route vehicles".

 5.11 "Lane for the movement of block vehicles".The lane is intended only for vehicles moving along established routes along the way with a common stream of vehicles.

The sign applies to the lane over which it is installed. The sign to the right of the road applies to the right lane.

 5.12 "End of the lane for the movement of block vehicles."

 5.13 "Road with reverse movement." The beginning of a road section in which in one or several lanes the direction of movement can be reversed.

 5.14 "End of the road with reverse traffic."

 5.15 “Departure to the road with reverse traffic”.

 5.16 “Directions of traffic in lanes”. Shows the number of lanes at the intersection and the permitted driving directions for each of them.

 5.17.1, 5.17.2 "Direction of movement by lanes".

 5.18 "Direction of traffic in the lane." Shows the permitted lane direction.

Sign 5.18 with an arrow depicting a left turn in a manner other than provided for by these Rules means that at this intersection, a left turn or a turn is carried out leaving the intersection to the right and bypassing the flower bed (dividing island) in the direction indicated by the arrow.

 5.19. "Use of the lane." Informs drivers about the use of the lane for the movement of only certain types of vehicles in these directions.

If the sign depicts a sign prohibiting or permitting the movement of any vehicles, the movement of these vehicles on it is accordingly prohibited or permitted.

 5.20.1, 5.20.2, 5.20.3 "Beginning of the additional traffic lane". Beginning of an additional lane on the rise or braking lane.

If the sign installed in front of the additional lane shows the sign 4.16, the driver of the vehicle, which cannot continue to move along the main lane with the indicated or higher speed, must change lane to the additional lane.

Sign 5.20.3 indicates the beginning of an additional lane on the left or the beginning of a braking lane in front of an intersection for a left turn or a turn.

 5.22 "Adjacent lanes for acceleration of vehicles." The place where the lane for acceleration is adjacent to the main lane at the same level on the right side.

 5.23 "Adjacent additional lane on the right side." Indicates that the additional lane is adjacent to the main lane on the road on the right side.

 5.24.1, 5.24.2 "Changing the direction of traffic on a road with a dividing strip". Shows the direction of the detour of the carriageway section of the road closed on the road on the road with a dividing strip or the direction of movement for returning to the carriageway on the right.

 5.25 “Lane for emergency stop”. Informs the driver about the location of the lane specially prepared for emergency stopping of vehicles in case of failure of the brake system.

 5.29.1, 5.29.2, 5.29.3 Deadlock. A road that does not have a through passage.

 5.30 "Recommended speed." The sign area extends to the nearest intersection.

 5.31 "Residential area". Informs about the entrance to the territory where special traffic conditions are provided for by these Rules.

 5.32 "The end of the residential area."

5.63.1 "The beginning of dense development." It is used exclusively within settlements, the beginning of which is indicated by the sign 5.47, - after this sign and on the verge of the beginning of dense buildings directly near the roadway (subject to the availability of such buildings). Separate courtyard areas are not marked with signs 5.31 and 5.32, but in such areas the requirements of section 26 of these Rules apply.

Signs 5.51, 5.52, 5.53, 5.54, installed outside the village, have a green or blue background, if they are installed respectively on the highway or other road.
