Edmunds tested the Ford Mustang Mach-E GT and GT Performance, the most powerful versions of the Mustang Mach-E. The cars were found to be more comfortable and fun to drive than the Tesla Model Y Performance. The GT variant in Poland starts at PLN 335.

Ford Mustang Mach-E GT Performance – Edmunds Experience

According to the information provided by the tester, the Mach-E GT Performance is stronger than the GT, but the technical data given (power, torque) shows that we are dealing with a version that is offered in Europe as a GT. In contrast, the American GT non-Performance version has the same power and 813 Nm of torque. Acceleration times vary considerably, however: 4,4 seconds to 100 km / h in the European GT cannot be translated into 3,5 seconds to 96,5 km / h in the GT Performance variant.

Edmunds' representative liked it Mach-E GT Performance “really goes”, there are no problems with changing direction - which was different in muscle cars - and that the manufacturer added a sound to inform about the trip. He did not like that in the city the car is not very reliable and has an echo in it. He concluded that the lower comfort level was due to the use of summer tires on the Performance variant.

The GT Performance version, in addition to the sides of the seat that support the body in corners, also has an additional strap that covers the body at shoulder level.

The Ford Mustang Mach-E GT should be more comfortable and quieter inside than the GT Performance version. At the same time, the car is not much different from the regular version, the main thing is that we do not use the entire power range. Yes, it has slightly better materials on the inside, a few extra decorations, but in normal use it works the same way. Also note that GT versions have a lower range than weaker variants.

Compared to Tesla Model Y PerformanceThe Ford Mustang Mach-E GT came across as the best in both everyday driving and dynamic driving. Plus, the Tesla Model Y is less comfortable and less made. Overall: Ford made a better impression than Model Y.
