Electric Stew: a battery-powered bike that accelerates to 114 km / h and is registered as a 125 cm scooter!
The Germans have created a very interesting electric "bike". Gulas Pi1S has pedals as well as a 38 (Pi1S) or 11 (Pi1) horsepower electric motor. A weaker version in many European countries is registered as the equivalent of a motorcycle with a volume of up to 125 cubic centimeters - that is, a category B driver's license is enough to ride it!
The bike weighs 128 kilograms, so, despite the pedals, it will be quite difficult to move with just the strength of the muscles. However, the manufacturer installed an electric motor with a capacity of up to 38 horsepower (model Pi1S), which allows it to accelerate to 114 kilometers per hour.

With 100 Newton-meters of torque, the Gulas Pi1S will likely take off faster than high-performance bikes under the headlights.
Two battery capacity options: 6,5 kWh and 10 kWh
The Gulas Pi1 / Pi1S electric motorcycle is available in two battery options. These with a capacity of 10 kilowatt-hours will provide a range of about 200 kilometers.Those with a capacity of 6,5 kWh - 125 kilometers. The order in which the ranges are evaluated is not specified.

What are the prices? The cheapest Gulas Pi1 with a 6,5 kWh battery costs 82,6 thousand PLN, net equivalent. Models with a 10 kWh battery already cost at least 103 PLN net.
So it's actually more profitable to wait another month, raise money and buy a new Nissan Leaf 2. 😉
