Harley Davidson electric motorcycles: coming out for young viewers in 2019

Harley Davidson has once again officially confirmed that the company's electric models will hit the market in 2019. They will target a younger audience that prefers city travel to travel in the United States.

Harley Davidson CEO Matt Levatich announced that the bikes should hit the U.S. market in summer 2019. However, he and the industry in general need to understand why people ride motorcycles. And why on them categorized they are going.

As the typical Harley Davidson motorcycle consumer ages and dies out, electric models will be targeting an entirely new customer: young, living and moving around the big city. Someone who might not want to mess around with the clutch and gear shifting.

Electrek compares this visually: the typical Harley owner grew up in a garage next to a car. Now the company wants to reach out to those who worked with computers in childhood.
