Honda Electric Scooter Coming in 2018 – Finally!
For those who were wondering between an electric Chinese and an internal combustion Honda, we reassure you. Back in 2018, Honda introduced the Honda EV-Cub electric scooter.
Anyone who has ever tried driving a cheap Chinese scooter knows why, even in the poor countries of the Far East, Honda, Yamaha and Kymco are racing through the streets. Everything is very simple: with constant operation and heavy loads, not only the initial price is important, but also the durability and availability of spare parts. Consequently, these and no other brands dominate the streets.
> WARSAW - GDANSK. Lotus will build 12 charging stations along the route, including 6 on the A1 and A2.
That is why we are delighted to announce that Honda will launch the EV-Cub electric scooter in 2018. The prototype was shown already in 2015, and now the model is finally going into mass production.
At the same time, Honda CEO Takahira Hachigo announced that up to two-thirds of Honda vehicles will be hybrid or electric by 2030. Unsurprisingly, rumors are starting to circulate that in 2018, in addition to the EV-Cub, we will see an electric Honda motorcycle - one candidate is the Honda Goldwing, which will be converted into a ... plug-in hybrid.
