Electric scooter Seat: power 7 kW, torque 240 Nm, battery range 115 km. Keep it up!
Seat presented the Seat e-Scooter electric scooter. Developed in conjunction with the Spanish company Silence, it promises to be much more interesting than electric mopeds from China. This is the equivalent of a 125cc gasoline scooter.3 and accelerates to 100 km / h.
Electric scooter with 7 kW engine can reach the top to 10,9 kW (14,8 hp) power and up to 240 Nm of torque. For comparison, the Opel Corsa-e, a B-segment car, has an engine with 260 Nm of torque. So we expect Seat to decide on a limit, as 240Nm will easily lift a two-wheeler with a person sitting on it...

The electric scooter is expected to accelerate to 50 km / h in 3,8 seconds., the maximum speed is 100 km / h. The manufacturer did not disclose the battery capacity, but promised a range of 115 kilometers according to the WMTC method. So, with normal city driving, we expect about 60-100 kilometers of real distance [preliminary calculations www.elektrowoz.pl].
Seat says the e-scooter's battery can be removed and recharged at home or at public stations. This suggests that it will be modular, because we do not fully imagine the need to move a brick weighing 15-20 kg between different locations.
The scooter will go on sale in 2020. Its price has not been announced, but we will expect at least 20-30 thousand zlotys - it seems that the manufacturer wants to create an alternative to the BMW c-Evolution, and not a cheap two-wheeled car for getting around the city.
