The vacation period is coming to an end, and with the return to normal life, we also begin to deal with the restrictions associated with pandemic Covid-19, which, unfortunately, has not yet been fully brought under control.

From Wednesday 1 ° September therefore, the obligation to present a Green Pass, a certificate confirming vaccination took place (but now it is enough to get the first dose from at least 14 days), successful treatment or negativity of an antigenic or molecular test also applies to some national shipments, mainly those involving travel between regions.

From gyms to ferries

Legislation that has so far authorized the obligation only for international travel and in detail for access to the interior of bars, restaurants and entertainment venues, from on September 1 it applies to a wide range of other activities, including schools and universities, and, above all, long distance travel even within national borders, confirming, however, an exception for local transport. Eventually.

From September 1, it will be necessary to present the Green Pass to access all vehicles moving between two or more regionseg inter-regional buses as well as buses for hire. Same rules for planes, trains, ships and ferries that cross multiple regions with Only 2 exceptions: Interregional trains running between the two regions and ferries crossing the Strait of Messina. There is no need for them to show Green Pass. However, in any case, the obligation to respect the intervals and wear a mask remains.

In addition, the obligation to present a self-certification remains in force, which states that he did not have. close contacts with people affected by COVID-19 in the last 2 days before the onset of symptoms and up to 14 days after their onset (from 14 days to 7 for vaccinated travelers), traceability and the use of a surgical mask or higher, which must be changed every 4 hours.

It should also be remembered that for long-distance travel by train, bus and plane, in addition to showing the Green Pass, it is also necessary to take a temperature measurement, if this is required by sanitary standards.

To access public transport such as buses, trams and taxis that serve city routes or, in any case, within regional boundaries, no obligations Green Pass, only a classic ticket is required. However, the obligation to wear a mask and keep a distance in addition to the restriction on passengers that can be allowed on board, which must not exceed 80% of the vehicle's maximum permitted capacity, remains in effect.

These provisions are in any case related to the health status of the Region and therefore to its location in risk areas classified as white, yellow, orange, or red area.
