Honda CMX500 Rebel, new custom – Moto Previews

Honda Think of the next generation of motorcyclists and imagine your debut motorcycle. Called CMX500 Rebel – like the cruisers of the 80s – this is a lightweight bike, stylish and with a strong personality. Arrives at dealerships in March.

Relaxed driving position

It has a saddle height of only 690 mm and is characterized by frame in steel tubes with a diamond structure. This guarantees a relaxed riding position, which, however, allows perfect control of the bike in any situation. The suspension kit includes one Fork 41 mm and shock absorbers, pre-tensioned in two positions at the rear. 

Thebraking systemIt features ABS as standard, 264mm at the front with 2-piston caliper and 240mm at the rear with 1-piston caliper. The large tires (130 / 90-16 at the front and 150 / 80-16 at the rear) further accentuate the bobber character of the Rebel, which will be available in vibrant Graphite Black and Mat Armored Silver Metallic colors. 

Two-cylinder 471 cc engine Cm, 45,6 hp.

Honda CMX500 Rebel it is driven by a motor 8 Valve, Liquid Cooled, 471cc Parallel Twin Cmwhich is a direct derivative of the brilliant device found in the Honda CB500 range.

Changed character thanks to new ignition and injection schemes and equipped with a special exhaust system, it is able to provide 45,6 CV power and 44,6 Nm of torque, which contributes to traction at medium and low revs.

The new Honda CMX500 Rebel can be customized with accessories such as a tubular rear rack, padded side bags, windshield, and a 12V outlet.
