In 2018, the first generation of the Jeep Renegade compact crossover underwent a planned restyling. Despite some visual changes, the car remains recognizable. The designers have given the exterior more modern elements. In particular, the radiator grille was revised, the head optics were improved (it is optionally LED), the style of the front bumper was slightly corrected. From the marketing side, the novelty approached the iconic Wrangler in style.

TECH SPECS:
Under the hood, the crossover has been updated more radically, so power units from the MultiAir and E.torQ families are no longer available for the new product. They were replaced by gasoline engines: a 1.0-liter three-cylinder and a 1.3-liter version with two degrees of boost. As for diesels, 1.6 and 2.0 liter options are still available on the list.
Depending on the selected power unit, the buyer can choose a 6-speed manual transmission, a similar preselective robot, or a 9-speed automatic.
The novelty has received an improved all-wheel drive system, which, depending on the configuration, distributes forces differently between the axles. Due to the installation of the transfer case, the reduced speed has a ratio of gear ratios of 20 * 1.
