How to use ratchet bolt cutters?

	High quality bolt cutters with a powerful ratchet (where the locking gear rotates and holds the blades tighter every time you squeeze the handles) are used in the same way as regular bolt cutters, with a few differences.
	Step 1 - Rate the material As with all bolt cutters, it is important not to attempt to cut material that is too strong for the blades. Before you begin, make sure the metal or other substance you are cutting is not too hard for your tool.
	Step 2 - Release the handles Sometimes there is a button at the end of the tool's jaw that you press to release the handles. Open them wide to open your jaws.
	Step 3 - Insert Material Position the jaws of the bolt cutter so that the material is as far away from the blades as possible towards the neck (where the cutting force is highest). Close the jaws to securely grip the material and prevent it from slipping out.
	Step 4 - Attach one handle Press one handle (the side without the ratchet lock) against your leg, the ground, or another comfortable surface.
	Step 5 - Apply Force to the Ratchet Slowly and firmly press the free handle of the tool against the other.
	Step 6 - Repeat After you have applied as much force as possible on the initial cut, pull the ratchet handle away from the other, spreading them as far apart as possible, and then put them back together. Repeat this movement, squeezing the jaws slightly each time until the material is cut through.
	Step 7 - Remove the bolt cutter Once you have achieved a complete cut, move the bolt cutter away from the material. If there is an unlock button, press it and then rock the tool handles until the jaws are fully open.
