How To: Replace the shifter and tie rod on a motorcycle

In this tutorial, we will learn how to replace the shifter and tie rod on a motorcycle. Remove the switch level first, then you will see a washer on the end of it. You will also see a screw with another washer. Now go ahead and loosen the bolt around the shift lever so you can completely remove everything. Then replace the shift lever and then replace the washers and bolts around it. Tighten them so they don't fall out of place. Reinstall the bolt, then use a screwdriver to secure it firmly into place.
