What tap seat sizes are available?

	Although the size of the tap setter itself does not change, there are two parts of the tool that are available in different sizes: the cutter and the threaded part.
Cutters
	The seat is measured by diameter. The diameter of the cutter must correspond to the diameter of the seat itself; for example, a 1" seat would require a 1" cutter. There are two standard tap sizes: 1/2″ and 3/4″ (12mm and 19mm). All tap installers will ship with multiple cutters to these specifications, but replacement parts are also available.
	There are also two forms of cutter: flat and beveled (sometimes called conical).
	The main difference between the cutters is the slope of the face, which can be flat or beveled. This is due to the fact that the valve seats are either flat or beveled. You must choose a cutter that matches your faucet socket.
Threaded section
	The threaded part of the tap adapter is screwed into the threaded hole of the lock nut, so the threads of both parts must match.
	The threaded section is represented by either parallel bushings or a tapered cone. The conical cone is for use with tap bodies threaded all the way to the top, while the parallel bushings are for threads that are recessed below the surface.
	The thread on the conical cones is universal and does not require replacement. Whereas parallel bushings only fit one thread size but are interchangeable; one tool usually consists of several parts, which are suitable for taps with different characteristics.
