Short test: Fiat Qubo 1.3 Multijet 16V (70 kW) Trekking

The Fiat Qubo, a derivative of the Fiorino truck, is not intended to be used as a recreational vehicle at all. We can say that he was subsequently vaccinated, since his initial task was to deliver Euro pallets. Back then, Quba was only refined to the point where you think as little as possible while driving, so that your car is a delivery pedigree.

Outwardly, they succeeded almost completely. Except for the boxy rear, the car looks pretty fresh. The Trekking version is best recognized by the curved roof sled. Tip: Given that the rails are in the shape of a round tube, it is advisable to check before purchasing a roof box if the universal brackets are suitable for this type of attachment.

The Quba's interior feel is good, which is best facilitated by the driver's pleasant working environment, the colorful materials chosen and plenty of storage space. When seated in the back, you will be even more impressed by the luxury of space and the ease of access to the rear bench (sliding door). Did you doubt that we would not compliment the trunk? True, one cannot blame for the modest space, but still the processing could be a little better (the sheet metal is covered only with thin insulation), there are no boxes, the paths take up space in width ...

But if we turn our attention to the Trekking label that adorns this Qubo, we can see that apart from the slightly taller suspension and slightly different front grille shape, this is the main mode of operation of the ESP system. Namely, with the selected program T, it works in such a way that it allows more slippage of the driving wheels on slippery surfaces. As long as the tires provide traction and the obstacles are no higher than the chassis, the Qubo starts climbing with surprising ease. Of course, a real 70 kilowatt turbodiesel and a well-calculated five-speed transmission also help him.

The categorization of Cuba in the introduction is not a mockery. This is just a definition of what kind of rest he is ready for. And Shmarna Gora is not a joke. Upstairs, I have not yet seen a traveler order tea without a drop of sweat on his forehead.
