Kymco Ionex - Kymco electric scooter to go on sale later this year

Kymco, a trusted motorcycle manufacturer in Poland, introduces the Kymco Ionex electric scooter to the market. The scooter has as many as three batteries, two of which can be removed to charge at home.

Kymco unveiled its electric scooter at the 2018 Tokyo Motorcycle Show. Kymco Electric Scooter Price not reported, but we know that the car was equipped with as many as three independent batteries. One is permanently installed in the scooter, and the other two are hidden in the underfoot space. They can be pulled out if necessary.

The scooter can be charged both in the traditional way, by connecting it to the socket, and using a portable or stationary charger. Three additional batteries can be placed in the storage compartment of the seat. Six batteries - five removable and one built-in - provide a range of 200 kilometers on a single charge, suggesting that the built-in battery, along with two additional ones, should provide a range of 100-120 kilometers.

Unofficially, the Kymco Ionex is due to launch later this year. Ionex's main competitor is Taiwanese company Gogoro, which makes electric scooters with removable batteries. Gogoro electric scooters are used, in particular, in the framework of bicycle rental in Germany.
