In 2012, a sports version of the first generation of Grants was presented to the world of motorists. The model was developed in conjunction with Lada Motor Sport Tec. Externally, this is a standard budget sedan with no significant changes. A small upgrade was carried out with air intakes, modules for foglights and the lower part of the bumpers. The model was brought up mainly on the technical side.

TECH SPECS:

Thanks to the use of lighter materials, the car has become 20 kg. lighter than a classic sedan, allowing for higher peak speeds and acceleration times. The first version of the sports version received one engine variant, which is combined with an improved 5-speed manual transmission. In the transmission, the gear ratios have changed (they have become a little closer, due to which the shift speed has increased).

In addition to the modified power unit, the model received clearer steering (the rack is shortened) and a sports suspension, thanks to which the transport became 2 centimeters lower.

EQUIPMENT

Parktronic, light and rain sensor (automatically activates the wipers) were added to the standard equipment. In addition to the driver's side, the front passenger also has an airbag. The rest of the options were taken from the luxury kits of the budget series.
