As part of the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2019, the British automaker presented the world of motorists with a new full-fledged Land Rover Defender 90 SUV. Despite the fact that the novelty is built on the trolley that formed the basis of the 5th generation Discovery, the Defender is outwardly unique. As in other SUVs, the designers have retained the angular body shape, as well as the design of some elements by which it is easy to recognize a representative of the Land Rover brand in the car.

TECH SPECS:
The new SUV received a fully independent suspension with the ability to change the ride height. Moreover, the rear multi-link lifts even the rear axle, and not just the body. An 8-speed automatic transmission is now available in the transmission. The torque is constantly transmitted to all wheels. The novelty is equipped with a multi-plate center differential clutch and a transfer case for two gears.
The Land Rover Defender 90 SUV is powered by one of four engine options. The list includes two 2.0-liter diesel engines with a turbocharger (two degrees of boost) and two gasoline engines. The first gasoline internal combustion engine with a volume of 2.0 liters, and the top modification is a 6-cylinder unit, reinforced with a 48-volt starter-generator.
