Flying taxis are the future

Do you know all those movies set in the future that have flying cars and taxis? Created at a time when filmmakers dreamed of the impossible, these crazy concepts are now becoming a reality. Ride-sharing giant Uber recently unveiled plans for a flying taxi service, which it is currently testing and plans to launch in 2023.
The company is investing heavily in "urban air mobility" and cites rising traffic congestion as the main reason. In Washington, the concept hybrid was demonstrated by the head of Uber Elevate Eric Ellison: “There is a limit to what we can do on the ground. We can move vehicles off the grid and into the sky in a meaningful way.”
Los Angeles and Dallas will launch a pilot program in 2020, with a full launch hopefully three years later.
Not to be outdone, the new Cora taxi plane has been launched in test mode in New Zealand. Not much is known about Uber's flying competitor, but some details have been leaked. The unmanned air taxis can carry two people and can land from rooftop to rooftop.
Cora engineers claim it will be one of the safest aircraft ever built, but only time will tell. What air taxi service do you plan to use?
