At the auto show held in Los Angeles at the end of 2019, the premium car brand unveiled an open version of the first generation Lexus LC 500. The Convertible is based on the coupe of the same name with some modifications. Firstly, so that the body shape with the raised roof was identical to its relative analogue, the designers made the aft part of the convertible a little wider. Secondly, the structure of the roof itself is made in such a way that, in the raised state, the stiffeners are not visible through the material. The buyer has two options for the color of the top: white or black.

TECH SPECS:

Since two years have passed between the release of related models, in technical terms, the Lexus LC 500 Convertible receives some improvements. The body structure has received more reinforcing elements made of aluminum, and damping elements have been added to the chassis to improve vibration absorption.

The new item relies on a 5.0-liter V-eight, which is compatible with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Optionally, the car can be equipped with a limited slip differential.
