Additive 3ton Plamet. Composition and principle of operation
The essence of the work of the metal cladding additive for the 3ton Plamet engine lies in the name. The very concept of "metal cladding lubricant" was introduced back in the 30s of the XX century in the USSR. In those days, lubricants were being developed with the addition of finely dispersed compounds of various non-ferrous metals. The goal is to extend the life of loaded friction units and ensure the operation of the motor in conditions of lubrication depletion, which was important for the military industry.
The experiments involved finely ground powders of pure metals, their oxides, salts, various alloys and other compounds of non-ferrous metals. Today, several compounds of copper, tin, aluminum and lead are known to have positive effects and are used in the production of metal cladding lubricants.
The 3ton company originally has American roots. In Russia, its representative office was opened in 1996. Today, the entire scheme of production and marketing on the territory of the Russian Federation is almost completely established within the country under the control of American technical control services. That is, the 3ton Plamet additive sold in the Russian Federation is also produced in Russia.
The additive is added to fresh oil after the next maintenance. Starts to act on average after 200 km of run. For relatively fresh engines, the recommended proportion is 1 bottle per 5 liters of oil. For engines with solid mileage - 2 bottles per 5 liters.
Active compounds of non-ferrous metals, mainly copper, fill microdamages and small defects of various nature on the rubbing surfaces of internal combustion engines. Motorists leave mostly positive feedback on the effect of the 3ton Plamet metal cladding additive. Drivers note the following positive effects after using this composition:

- reduction of vibration of the internal combustion engine at idle;

Taking into account the cost of the 3ton Plamet additive (60-70 rubles per 100 ml bottle), most motorists believe that this additive has a good set of useful properties.
Among the negative reviews there are dissatisfaction with an insufficient or missing beneficial effect. But taking into account the cheapness of the composition, it is not entirely correct to expect miraculous properties, which often do not even give compositions from the top segment with a much higher cost, ten times higher than the price of the 3ton Plamet additive.
