2022 Mitsubishi Outlander Aspire Review: Snapshot

The Aspire sits in the middle of the Outlander lineup and costs $41,490 for front-wheel drive or another $2500 for all-wheel drive.  

Standard Aspire features include 20-inch alloy wheels, heated front seats, micro-suede/synthetic leather seat trim, 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, 360-degree monitor, power driver's seat and head-up display. Also included is a 9.0-inch multimedia display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual-zone front-row climate control, front and rear parking sensors, adaptive cruise control, rearview camera, electric parking brake, push-button start, privacy glass, automatic headlights with automatic high beams, leather steering wheel, proximity key, roof rails, cordless phone charger, rain-sensing wipers, and LED headlights and daytime running lights.

Outlander is equipped with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder petrol engine with 135 kW and 245 Nm of torque.

The 2022 Outlander has yet to receive an ANCAP safety rating, but it does have a host of safety features such as front AEB, lane keeping assist and blind spot warning across all grades. LS trims and up also get rear AEB and rear cross traffic alert.

Please note that airbags do not apply to third row passengers.
