25 Thiriac Collection
The Tiriac Collection is the private car collection of Ion Tiriac, a Romanian businessman and former professional tennis and ice hockey player. Mr. Tiriac's tennis career has been very successful. He served as coach and manager for several prominent players and retired in 1979 with 23 titles. The following year, Ion Tiriac founded a private bank, the first of its kind in post-communist Romania, making him the richest man in the country. With the fortune he made from this venture, Mr. Tiriac was able to finance his passion for cars. Its automotive collection has around 250 historical cars and exotic cars, sorted by theme, available for public viewing at a facility near Bucharest, the capital of Romania.
24 Lingenfelter Collection
Ken Lingenfelter has an absolutely amazing collection of rare, expensive and beautiful cars. Ken is the owner of Lingenfelter Performance Engineering, a renowned manufacturer of engines and tuning components. His extensive collection of nearly two hundred cars is housed in his 40,000-square-foot building in Michigan. The collection is open to the public and Ken personally leads tours of the facility where he provides useful and fascinating information about the unique vehicles found there. The vault that houses the collection is also used more than 100 times a year for various charitable activities.
The collection contains about 30% muscle cars, 40% corvettes and 30% exotic European cars.
Ken has deep connections and a love for GM vehicles, as his father worked for Fisher Body, which built bodies for GM's high-end products. Another impressive highlight of the collection is the 2008 Lamborghini Reventón, one of only 20 examples ever built!
23 Sheikh Hamad bin Hamdan Al Nahyan
Sheikh Hamad bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, from the ruling family of Abu Dhabi, is one of the richest people on the planet. As a billionaire, he was able to finance his passion for outlandish and original cars. Sheikh Hamad, also known as the "Rainbow Sheik" due to the fact that he bought 7 Mercedes-Benz S-Class cars in 7 colors of the rainbow, built a giant pyramid-shaped vault to house and display his insane collection of cars and trucks. .
The collection is open to the public and includes some very interesting vehicles, including an original Ford Model T (fully restored), a Mercedes S-Class monster truck, a giant motorhome, and many other creations that are as weird as they are wonderful.
The highlight of his collection are giant replicas of vintage trucks, including the huge Willy Jeep from World War II and the largest Dodge Power Wagon in the world (pictured). 22 Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan
Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan is a member of Abu Dhabi's ruling family and has an insanely expensive collection of rare and beautiful supercars. The cars are stored in a private facility in Abu Dhabi, UAE called the SBH Royal Automobile Gallery.
Some of the standout cars in the collection include the Aston Martin One-77, the Mercedes-Benz SLR Stirling Moss, the Bugatti EB110, one of twenty Lamborghini Reventóns in the world, and the ultra-rare Maserati MC12.
There are also at least five Bugatti Veyrons in the collection! There are over thirty supercars in the collection, and many of them are worth several million dollars. Looking at the list of exclusive cars in the collection, you can see that the Sheikh has very good taste.
21 Collection of His Serene Highness Prince Rainier III Prince of Monaco
Prince Rainier III of Monaco began collecting cars in the late 1950s, and as his collection grew, it became apparent that the garage at the Royal Palace was not large enough to hold them all. For this reason, the prince moved the cars to larger premises and opened the collection to the public in 1993. The property is located on the Terrasses de Fontvieille and covers a whopping 5,000 square meters!
Inside, visitors will find more than a hundred rare cars, including a 1903 De Dion Bouton, a 2013 Lotus F1 racing car, and a Lexus that the royal couple drove on their wedding day in 2011.

Of all the car collections on this list, my favorite is the one by legendary fashion designer Ralph Lauren. The collection of around 70 cars is arguably the most expensive in the world, with an estimated value in excess of $300 million. With a net worth of $6.2 billion, Mr. Lauren can afford to continue adding breathtaking, one-of-a-kind automotive treasures to his collection. The highlight of the collection is a 1938 Bugatti 57SC Atlantic, one of only four ever built and one of only two extant examples. The car is worth about $50 million and won both "Best in Show" at the 1990 Pebble Beach Elegance Contest and the 2012 Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este, the most prestigious car show in the world. Another car in the collection is a Bentley 1929 liter Blower 4.5 model year, which participated in one of the oldest automobile races in the world, the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1930, 1932 and 1933.
19 Jay Leno
Jay Leno, popular host of The Tonight Show, is also an avid car collector. His collection is unparalleled and unique in that all of his 150 cars and motorcycles are fully licensed and legal to drive. The royal family of Brunei, headed by Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, is one of the richest families in the world. This is due to the huge reserves of natural gas and oil in the country. Michael Fuchs moved from Cuba to the United States in 1958. He founded several successful bedding businesses. One of his ventures, Sleep Innovations, was started with a $3,000 investment and generated $300 million in sales when Michael sold the company. Another one of his bedding companies was sold to Sealy Mattresses in 2012. The entrepreneur started building a car collection, which now has about 160 cars (Mr Fuchs lost count). The cars are kept in three hanger-sized garages and Michael often picks them up and drives them. The car enthusiast is also one of 106 happy owners of the new McLaren Ultimate Series BP23 hybrid hypercar. 14 Khalid Abdul Rahim from Bahrain
Khalid Abdul Rahim from Bahrain is an entrepreneur and car enthusiast whose company built the Abu Dhabi Formula 1 circuit and the Bahrain International Speedway. While many of the collections featured in this article contain classic and vintage cars, Khalid Abdul Rahim's collection primarily consists of cutting-edge supercars.

A significant number of cars are not only rare, but also of great historical importance, including Winston Churchill's Austin and Elton John's Bentley. Other notable models include the XKSS, eight E-types, various pre-war SS Jags, 2 XJS models, and many more. His Instagram page offers a rare window into his wealthy life, with videos of him racing a camel in the Saudi Arabian desert and photos of cheetahs and other exotic pets sitting in a Lamborghini.
