Test drive Peugeot 207 CC: Summer collection 2007

Like its hugely successful predecessor, the Peugeot 207 CC has a hard metal retractable roof that electrically retracts into the trunk. First impressions of the top-end version of the model.

The 207 CC's mission is definitely not easy ... in seven years of production, its predecessor, the 206CC, has sold 370 copies, making it one of the best-selling convertibles of all time.

Peugeot has taken care of a number of improvements, especially in the area of the roof mechanism. The roof is now fully electrically operated without any physical intervention. It takes approximately 25 seconds to open fully and the drive button is located on the center console between the two front seats.

The large-area tilting windshield ensures optimum passenger comfort and allows you to travel at even higher speeds without strong airflow in the passenger compartment.

Developed in collaboration with BMW The 1,6-liter, variable-valve, direct injection, 150-liter petrol engine with a maximum output of 207 horsepower delivers excellent manners and excellent traction even at low revs. In addition, Peugeot promises a combination of good driving dynamics and low fuel consumption. The perfect addition to the character of the top 207 CC is the sporty chassis, which offers a combination of stable road holding and surprisingly good ride comfort. Overall, the 206 CC looks significantly taller than its predecessor, the XNUMX, but thankfully it's not that much more expensive.
