Introducing the Volkswagen T-Cross

T-Cross is not only a new car, but also the embodiment of Volkswagen's new design approach. It is not the form that is surprising, but the fact that the designers have finally relaxed a little and crossed the established rails. The result is a beautiful and lively car that can be of interest to both the fairer sex and young buyers. Young people in age, and those who think they are young or just at heart, T-Cross is definitely already there.

Although the T-Cross is the smallest in the family, the designers associate it with the largest, the Touareg. In particular, the front grille should be very similar, but to keep the T-Cross from looking too serious, they smashed the front end with an interesting front bumper. From the side, the T-Cross may look similar to the Touareg, Tiguan and T-Roc, but its rear end is the most unique. Large lights run all over the trunk lid, making it look bigger and more attractive in design. The T-Cross is 12 centimeters smaller than the T-Roc (and only a full five more than the Polo), but Volkswagen says it will still be roomy enough. Also due to the movable rear bench, which provides space either in the cabin or in the luggage compartment.

The interior is typically Volkswagen. Not lively enough for the shade, but thoughtfully arranged and ergonomically perfected. The Germans promise that the T-Cross will also be interesting for young people, which, of course, means that it will primarily connect along the smartphone-car route, but at the same time it is well equipped as standard, and for an additional fee with some Assistance systems in the provision of safety, until now, it was intended only for vehicles of a higher class. There will be three standard equipment packages (T-Cross, Life and Style) that can be upgraded with design packages and the R-line sports package.

Initially, the T-Cross will be available with three engines in four versions. The base liter turbocharged petrol engine will be available in 95 or 115 horsepower, the most powerful will be a 1,5-liter turbocharged 150 horsepower, while on the other hand a 1,6-liter turbo diesel engine will still be available. with a 95-inch engine. horsepower ".

Volkswagen will produce the T-Cross (which will be Seat Arona's biggest rival in the group) at the Spanish plant in Navarra and is expected to unveil it in showrooms early next year.
