Presentation of the VAE Compact foldable Velobecane

The compact electric bicycle velobekan is a folding bicycle model.

Folds down first in the middle of the frame, then at the level of the stem. You can also fold the pedals (to put it in a motorhome, car, or even a boat).

In terms of comfort, we have a front fork suspension as well as a seat post suspension. 

Two mudguards (one in front and one in the back), rear rack (holds up to 25 kg).

Finally, the front and rear LED lighting (which you turn on with the little red button to the left of the steering wheel, next to the horn) 

There is an LCD screen on the steering wheel (press and hold the on / off button to turn it on).

You can adjust the electric assist with "+" and "-" (1 to 5), or turn it off completely by setting the speed to 0. 

To the left of the screen is a battery level indicator, in the middle is the speed at which you are driving, and at the bottom of the screen is the total number of kilometers traveled.

For the lower part of the screen, several options are possible (by pressing the on / off button once):

  • ODO: corresponds to the total number of kilometers traveled.

  • TRIP: corresponds to the number of kilometers per day.

  • TIME: corresponds to the travel time in minutes.

  • W POWER: Corresponds to the power of the bike being used. 

When you are driving at night, you have the option to turn on the LCD screen by holding the "+" button. To turn it off, you do exactly the same operation, i.e. hold down the "+" button.

When you hold down the "-" button, you get startup help.

In terms of brakes, you have TEKTRO brand mechanical disc brakes on the front and back of your Velobekan electric bike, which will allow you to brake in all situations and regardless of weather conditions.

You also have 20-inch tires that are 1.95 cm wide (which is slightly wider than usual). This will allow you to walk along forest paths or even city paths and cobblestones.

* The rear wheel contains the motor, which is a 250 W cyclobecan motor equipped with a transmission. Shimano 7 speed.

The battery, which is removable, also has 3 positions (using a key):

  • ON: Battery is on.

  • OFF: The battery is off.  

  • UNLOCKED: Used to remove the battery.

Folding e-bike COMPACT Velobekan FOLD measure:

  • 88 cm long.

  • 44 cm wide.

  • Height 75 see.

It can be adapted to several sizes: 

  • Quick-release coupling allowing saddle height adjustment.

  • Quick-release coupling that allows you to adjust the height of the handlebars.

  • Quick-release coupling allowing adjustment of suspension tilt.

The bike can carry a maximum load of 120 kg with a low enough offset to easily overcome obstacles.

The COMPACT folding e-bike Velobekan is eligible for an environmental bonus.

You can get a bike subsidy of up to € 500 depending on your region.
