What is the additive "Forsan"?
Forsan engine additive is a traditional nano-ceramic composition, which is used in one form or another in most additives of this type. And to be more precise, the term "additive" Forsan cannot be called. The additive does not imply an impact on the chemical composition of the oil and a change in any of its characteristics. Forsan components use oil only as a transport medium to deliver active substances to loaded friction areas.
Nanoceramic particles of the Forsan Nanoceramics additive circulate through the lubrication system and deposit on the metal surfaces of the internal combustion engine. Under the influence of temperature and pressure, nanoceramic crystals fill voids and microdamages on the metal and create a very hard surface layer. Along with hardness, the nanoceramic coating has a very low coefficient of friction. As a result, the following effects are observed:
- partial renovation of damaged metal-to-metal contact spots (liners, shaft journals, piston rings, cylinder mirrors, etc.);
- reduction of internal resistance in moving parts of the motor.
This leads to some increase in power and durability of the motor. There is a decrease in the consumption of fuels and lubricants (gasoline and oil), as well as a decrease in noise and vibration returns from the operation of the motor.
How to apply?
The Forsan additive is available in three versions.
- Protective package "Forsan". It is used for engines with mileage up to 100 thousand km. It is recommended to fill in the oil not earlier than after the end of the engine break-in (the scheduled mileage set by the manufacturer, during which the engine must be operated in a gentle mode). The main purpose of this additive is wear protection.
- Recovery package "Forsan". Recommended for engines with solid mileage (from 100 thousand km). In this additive, the emphasis is on restoring worn metal surfaces of internal combustion engines.
- Transmission attachment. It is poured into such units as checkpoints, axles, gearboxes. Operates with high contact loads and moderate temperatures.
The filling proportions depend on the type of machine being processed and the amount of lubricant in it. Instructions for the use of Forsan formulations are quite complex and thought out in detail; it is supplied by the manufacturer along with the product.
"Forsan" or "Suprotek": which is more effective?
Among motorists there is no unequivocal opinion which of the additives is better. If compared in proportion, then there are much more reviews in open sources, both positive and negative, about the compositions of Suprotec. However, one must understand that the product range of Suprotec products is much wider (measured in dozens of positions against only three) and the market share is disproportionately larger than that of Forsan.
If you rely on reviews on the network, then we can say with confidence: the additive "Forsan" works, and works with tangible efficiency. And if the need to use a ceramic composition is correctly analyzed and the manufacturer's instructions are followed, Forsan will work. This additive will help protect or extend the life of the internal combustion engine or transmission.
The question of the effectiveness of the composition remains open, since in each individual case the work of the additive is individual and depends on the nature of the engine wear, its intensity of operation, and several dozen other factors.
