RA - Robotic Agent

A device for distraction-prone drivers who need help regaining an acceptable state of attention (preferably self-aware, such as not using such tools before driving).

Research by Nissan has shown that a calm driver is less likely to get involved in an accident because he is more attentive. Reflecting on this fact, the Japanese company came to the conclusion that the vehicle can even influence the mood of the driver, so there is a real connection between the car and the driver. To manage the communication between them, Pivo 2 uses a robotic agent (RA) capable of creating conditions of affection and trust.

The robotic agent has a “face” that looks out of the dashboard, “speaks” and “listens,” and interprets the driver's mood through conversation and facial recognition technology. In addition to helping you manage all the information you need, it is programmed to "cheer up" or "calm down" the driver, depending on the situation.

The robotic agent nods, shakes his head, his facial expression immediately becomes “intelligible” and helps to create a serene and relaxing atmosphere in which the driver can work with maximum clarity. The interactive interface creates relationships of trust and affection that enhance safety and enjoyment of driving.
