Extended test: Moto Guzzi V7 III Carbon - smoke for a hero

It so happened that at the end of June, as part of a promotional tour, a caravan of world drifters visited our places - motorists who drive turns and generally joke with cars. But be careful, this is a serious discipline, there are even different championships around the world. Since the guys are joking, we agreed to ride the Moto Guzzi V7 Carbon. But in their own style. How? Well, please, "firbka".

Location: Raceland Krško. Time: Tuesday afternoon. Major Players: Moto Guzzi V7 III Carbon (Limited Edition) and Steve "Baggsy" Biagioni. Hard as pepper icon.

Of course, you had to get to Raceland, which is a stone's throw from the Krško nuclear power plant. Well, from Guzzi, the jump to the southern tip of Slovenia was very enjoyable. On the one hand, being overly cautious on modern motorcycles when he opens the throttle is already annoying. The Moto Guzzi Carbon, a model of the legendary V7 family, is certainly not like that. Tradition dictates the V-twin design, and a little more than a pleasant 50 horsepower from the black carbon Guzzi is enough to be able to open the throttle fully. At the same time, you are not afraid that raspberries will carry you under the road. The position on the bike is natural, traditional, and the ride of about 150 kilometers was a return to the traditions of motorsport, when the motorcyclist still had time to look not only at the road, but also at the nature through which the road led. his.

A rich cavalry of mechanical horses, locked under the metal sheets of racing and drifting cars, was already stationed at Raceland. Yes, Baggsy had 1.200 of them! Jokes aside. However, those who were attracted by Moto Guzzi with its charm, appearance and red cylinder covers became more and more. Those who came closer were impressed by the quilted seat and classic gauges. Since the Carbon is a special model, we have given it a special role: it will stand in the middle of the track, and Baggsy will circle around it in drift style. No sooner said than done. It didn't take our two-wheeled hero many laps to disappear into a cloud of smoke to the loud sound of thousands of "horses" and the squeal of tires - and survive.

And crack. Little is known about the Israelis using a Moto Guzzi engine, the same as the one roaring in a Carbon frame, for drones. The attempt was unsuccessful and the program was soon abandoned. Better. Moto Guzzi is a car for peace and pleasure.
