Raillier: Nice leather jacket with LEDs

At the last 2 Wheel Show in Lyon, young clothing brand Raylier was spotted offering a leather jacket fitted with LEDs for improved front and back visibility. The French initiative should be encouraged.
In France, we have no oil, but we have ideas. This famous replica deserves to be applied to all of these startups in the motorcycle world that are not devoid of creativity. This is the case of Reilier, who presented at the 2 Wheel Show in Lyon a new range of leather jackets with LEDs on the chest, arms, back and back of the arms.
A bright idea ... and which quite successfully combines the classic and understated look of a motorcycle leather jacket with the power of LEDs in terms of lighting. The Raylier company, founded by Baptiste Rosé and Thibault Bannellier, came up with the idea of attaching LEDs to a leather jacket after an accident in their environment. Unfortunate, but such a frequent accident at an intersection, in which the motorcycle has not been seen.
Railier: Well-integrated LEDs for better visibility and smart features
Therefore Raylier offers a leather jacket (brown or black) for men or women, fitted with white LEDs in the front and red LEDs in the back. The lights are powered by a small battery in the jacket. External battery that is charged via the USB port. The user can select several lighting modes: fixed, warning, flashing, etc.
Also note that the LEDs can operate in brake light mode thanks to the presence of an accelerometer inside the jacket. There is no need for an app to activate this mode because it is offline. Autonomy, incl, declared for 8 hours.
However, Raylier goes further as the manufacturer turned to the Liberty Rider app to develop an SOS mode after the crash. The jacket will then be connected to the app and will glow in warning mode until emergency services arrive. As you already understood, the Raylier jacket is much more than a simple leather jacket with a "flash of LEDs" ... This partly explains the rather high sale price of 630 euros, including VAT. At the exhibition in Lyon, the quality of the leather of Pakistani origin seems to be very good with a certain flexibility.
