Renault Trafic Combi and SpaceClass. Big changes in the interior

At its world premiere, Renault is presenting the new Trafic range of passenger vehicles, consisting of two models: the new Renault Trafic Combi and the new Renault Trafic SpaceClass. How are the cars equipped?

The new Renault Trafic Combi is designed to transport people (companies or local authorities) and large families. 

The new Renault Trafic SpaceClass meets the needs of the most demanding drivers and passengers who are looking for versatility, space and comfort at the highest level. Entities specializing in the transportation of VIPs and tourists can choose the Signature option with a "business" cabin with elegant leather upholstery. On the other hand, customers dreaming of a journey into the unknown will surely be pleased with the all-new version of the Escapade.

Renault Trafic Combi and SpaceClass. Appearance 

The new Renault Trafic Combi and SpaceClass feature a redesigned horizontal bonnet and vertical grille. The exterior has been improved with new bumpers and full LED headlights connected by a chrome strip creating a distinctive C-shaped layout. The new Trafic Combi and SpaceClass also feature power-folding exterior mirrors, new 17-inch wheels (diamond-polished for the SpaceClass) and sleeker hubcaps. Both models are available in seven exterior colours, including the original vibrant carmine red, which lends a sophisticated fiery accent to the stylish look. The new Trafic Combi and the new Trafic SpaceClass are able to adapt to different customer needs.

An all-new instrument panel, accentuated by a horizontal trim strip extending over the door panels, creates an impression of more spaciousness. There are also many new storage compartments inside. The new shift knob and climate control switch have a chrome finish. The new Trafic SpaceClass features an original Météor Gray instrument panel that lends an elegant touch to the interior.

The new Trafic Combi and the new Trafic SpaceClass also retain the highly regarded cargo volume of up to 1,8 m³ and the exemplary interior layout for up to 9 people. 

Renault Trafic Combi and SpaceClas. Equipment 

The Renault EASY LINK multimedia system with GPS navigation appears on board. It is compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, features an 8-inch display and optionally features an inductive smartphone charger to keep users connected to the world all day long.

The new Trafic Combi and the new SpaceClass have easy-to-reach storage spaces with a total capacity of 86 liters, and now they go even further with a six-litre Easy Life drawer that's always at hand!

The new Trafic Combi and the new Trafic SpaceClass are equipped with numerous latest generation driving aids. These include Active Cruise Control to maintain a constant set speed, Active Emergency Brake Assist which warns the driver of hazards and brakes instead if there is no reaction to avoid a collision, and Lane Keeping Assist which alerts the driver to unintentional continuous or unintentional violations of the dotted line. Another new feature is the blind spot monitoring system, which makes it easier to change lanes. Safety in the cabin is also enhanced by a new, larger front airbag designed to protect two passengers.

Renault Trafic Combi and SpaceClas. Diesel engines and automatic transmissions EDC

The new Trafic Combi and the new Trafic SpaceClass are equipped with three diesel engines: the new dCi 5 engine with 150 hp with EDC automatic transmission).

Available for the dCi 150 and dCi 170 engines, the six-speed dual-clutch EDC automatic transmission enhances driving comfort and dynamics with precise and instant gear changes. Stop & Start technology ensures that the range fully complies with the new Euro 6Dfull regulation.

Details of the new Renault Trafic passenger vehicle range, which includes the new Renault Trafic Combi and the new Renault Trafic SpaceClass, will be announced in early 2021. The market debut of both models is scheduled for the second half of April 2021.
