  8. After the antifreeze is completely drained, the tank is put back in place, all drain holes are closed and the cooling system is flushed using one of the above methods.
  9. After flushing, new antifreeze is poured into the expansion tank, the car starts and idles for five minutes.

    After this time, the engine is turned off, and a little more antifreeze is added to the expansion tank so that its level is slightly above the MIN mark. This completes the antifreeze replacement procedure.
