Driving Electric channel published a review of Skoda CitigoE iV / actually: Skoda Citigoe iV /. The electric Skoda has been described as a great city car and a great introduction to the world of electricians. The downsides were minor: the lack of a multimedia touchscreen and a slightly higher suspension stiffness than usual.

Let us recall which car the review is about. Skoda CitigoE iV specifications:

Skoda Citigo electric car – Opinion on driving an electric car

Driving the car was described as "really enjoyable".... The power steering is strong so it works both in the city and on the highway. The only minor inconvenience can be driving comfort: in the car you can notice a large mass of batteries stuck under the floor, which the shock absorbers have to deal with. As a result, the suspension is stiffer than the combustion engine version.

On paper, the acceleration may not be a staggering 12,3 seconds to 100 mph, however, according to Driving Electric. the car is not slow at allespecially up to 65-80 km / h. It is easy to guess that this is the ratio of the power (torque) of the engine to the mass of the car.

At higher speeds, the potential built into the engine drops, so the maximum possible is 130 km / h. Up to about 110-115 km / h, the car rides well if we do not focus on long distances along highways. The Skoda CitigoE iV doesn't seem as mature for long journeys as larger models like the Kia e-Niro.

In the tested version of the equipment the quality of the interior was rated as good... The photo shows that there is a lot of plastic in the cabin, and the door is covered with metal sheet, but the level of arrangement of the elements of the cabin and the quality of the materials used seem to be acceptable. A minor drawback was the lack of a multimedia touch screen and the inability to adjust the steering wheel in the second plane, in depth.

Good equipment is an advantage: we get a leather-wrapped steering wheel, digital radio and automatic air conditioning as standard.
