DÄHLer studio prepares kit for BMW M2 CS

European sales of the two-door sports car BMW M2 will end this year in all its forms - Competiton and uncompromising CS. Everyone experiences this loss in their own way. For example, the specialists of the Swiss studio dÄHLer tirelessly run setup programs for the M2. The portfolio already has three refinement options for the coupe before the reform (408-450 hp) and two for the M2 Competition (500 and 540 hp), and now it's the turn of the M2 CS track. Forged 20-inch wheels and larger tailpipes of the new exhaust system are just the beginning of the change.

The tuners want 3.0 Swiss francs (4980 euros) for the main 4650 engine power package, and 2 (7980 euros) for Stage 7400. Another 2990 francs (2780 euros) will need to be paid for the Eventuri carbon body kit, while the exhaust system will cost 3850 francs (3560 euros).

For the BMW M2 CS dÄHLer, they offer both 25 mm shortened springs and a full racing suspension with adjustable brakes for 5900 francs (5470 euros). Also, the interior can be supplemented with Alcantara upholstery, more expensive leather seat upholstery, branded linings and pedals.

There are two modifications of the 3,0-liter inline six-cylinder turbo engine available. Stage 1 promises 520 hp. and 700 Nm instead of the factory 410 hp. and 550 Nm. When ordering Stage 2, the power is increased to 550 hp. and 740 Nm. It is not reported how the dynamic characteristics have changed, but it is known that the tuners remove the electronic speed limiter from the car (the option is not available in Switzerland itself). Thus, even with Stage 1 software, the BMW M2 CS Coupé can accelerate to 302 km / h from the original 250 or 280 km / h, depending on the availability of the M Driver package.
