Bjorn Nyland conducted a range test on the Tesla Model S Long Range AWD Raven. It turned out that on a single charge a car can travel up to 644 kilometers at a speed of 90 km / h and up to 473 kilometers at a speed of 120 km / h! This is the best result in the world to date.

According to Bjorn Nyland's measurements, the car on 19-inch wheels:
- at a speed of 90 km / h passes in 644 km with an average energy consumption of 14,4 kWh / 100 km (144 Wh / km),
- at a speed of 120 km / h passes in 473 km with an average energy consumption of 19,6 kWh / 100 km (196 Wh / km).
Both measurements were carried out in good weather and a few degrees Celsius, and a 1% meter error was also taken into account when measuring the distance. The car was driven with a lowered suspension in Range Mode, that is, it maximized the mileage.

It turned out that at a speed of 120 km / h Tesla Model S "Raven" can travel more kilometers on a single charge than a Porsche Taycan 4S, Mercedes EQC, Jaguar I-Pace or Audi e-tron, moving at a speed of 90 km / h. !
Nyland charged the cars 100 percent and unloaded them for as long as a test was required. However, if we assume that we operate vehicles in the range of 15-80 percent degradation reduction, we will have at our disposal:
- 419 km at 90 km / h,
- 307 km at 120 km / h.
The first speed is hardly useful for long trips, but 120 km / h will work even on the highway. If it turns out that we have a Supercharger on our way, we will be able to overcome the road in two quick jumps of 450 + 300 kilometers.

Finally, it's worth adding that Bjorn Nyland has tested the Tesla Model S Long Range while the Tesla Model S Long Range is already on sale in the US. More ...
