The car responds to the commands of the mobile application, but does not update the GPS coordinates, because, as Tesla allegedly states, it does so only when driving by itself. What then is to be done? How do I find out the location of the car?

Tesla's mobile app showed the car exactly where the owner had left it, but the car was gone. Therefore, users advised him to appear in this place (so that Tesla knows that it is close) and use the call function to drive even a small section of the road. This should update the coordinates.

It was also suggested to set the maximum heat (frosty) to drain the battery as quickly as possible - because someone said that the car can update its GPS position while charging. Finally, it has been suggested that since the car is available on the network, it can be well identified using the GSM infrastructure.

Unfortunately, at the moment the story does not have a happy ending. The thread creator deleted his account, no further advice followed. There was only an assumption that the car could go to Central and Eastern Europe or Eastern Europe, and here it was reprogrammed to connect to a completely different network. Or it was taken apart, because original parts are expensive, and there are few of them on the secondary market.
