Tube Replacement Electric Bicycle Velobecane

ELECTRIC BIKE ITEM

(Same operation for all Velobekan electric bike models)

Have you punctured the wheel of your electric bike?

Here are some steps to replace it:

* For convenience, turn the e-bike over (handlebar and saddle point towards the ground).

  1. Unscrew the 2 nuts (right and left) from the rear wheel of your electric bike.

  1. Using pliers / scissors, cut the cable tie holding the motor wire, then disconnect the motor wire.

  1. Continue to loosen the nuts, then place the chain on the small sprocket on the rear wheel (higher speed).

  1. Remove the wheel from the bike.

  1. Remove the tire with an iron. (Place the tire against the valve and make semicircles to the right and left).

  1. Remove the tire from the wheel, then remove the tube from the tire. Using a glove (to avoid injury), search with your hand inward to find an object that could pierce the inner tube. (You can also do this by eye by turning the tire.)

  1. After removing the pointed object, put on a new tube (insert it inside the tire).

  1. Insert the cap of the inner tube into the cap of the valve, then tighten the small cap of the valve to prevent the inner tube from slipping out.

  1. Place the tire on the wheel, starting from one side, when finished, make the other side (starting opposite the valve, as if removing it).

  1. After the tire is installed on the wheel, return the wheel to the e-bike, then take and slide the chain back onto the small gear.

  1. Once the wheel is on the e-bike, secure it with the chain, tighten the nuts on the right and left sides (for a snowboard, this would be a 2/18 wrench).

  1. Connect the motor cable (2 arrows must point to each other).

  2. Slip on the cable tie to securely attach the motor cable to the e-bike.

  1. Inflate the tire (for snow, the tire pressure is 2 bar). If you are unsure, the corresponding pressure is usually written on the side of the tire.

  1. If the tube comes out of the wheel when inflating the tire, deflate the tire, insert the tube correctly, and then inflate again.

  1. Once the tire is properly inflated, put it back on the wheels and go!
