Goodwood Festival of Speed moves to United States

The Goodwood Festival of Speed has been delighting fans of precision mechanics for over 25 years, gathering at the weekend a palette of colorful automobile cars in the majestic natural environment of the Duke of Richmond: Goodwood Mansion.

From September 30 to October 2, 2021, Pontiac, Michigan, 20 miles north of Detroit, will host the first part of the American Festival of Speed. There is the M1 Concourse, a 1,5-mile runway area where the event will run in parallel with the Woodward Dream Show, another meeting that is already quite popular in the region. Both events will follow the model proposed by the Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival.

In the first part, the organizers of the American Speed Festival plan to pay tribute to the American manufacturer Jim Hall, who will be represented by three racing cars (two Chaparral 2E and 2J), which we have already seen in Goodwood in recent years, on the famous Climb hill.
