Therefore, in case of any problems with the brake system, you should immediately go to the workshop, says Marcin Telej, owner of the Euromaster Telgum service in Iława.
– A hallmark of a good brake system is, firstly, the presence of brake pads suitable for your brake discs, at least half the thickness of a new pad. The block must not be covered with a burnt, glassy surface. In addition, we must remember to check the brake discs to make sure they are shiny, not corroded, not discolored, evenly worn and free of cracks. The third important component of the system is the brake fluid. It should be clear, slightly yellowish and with minimal water content, but this measurement must be done with a special device, adds Marcin Telei.
