It is clear to all of us that it is offensive to call Brabus a tuning company. The Bottrop, Germany-based company not only produces truly unique cars, often compared to works of art, but is also certified as an automobile manufacturer. Thus, every Mercedes-Benz leaving its halls even has its own VIN number issued by the company.

There is no Merz model on which Brabus has not imposed its vision of how it can look better, be more powerful or faster. This applies to both the smallest Daimler cars (including Smart) and the largest SUVs with the three-spoke logo. 

3.6 S Lightweight

In the 1980s, the BMW M3 was the king of sports sedans. In fact, he made German sedans sports cars because he was agile and fast. Mercedes is answering the challenge with the iconic 190E Evolution and Evolution II.

However, Brabus is raising the bar with a 3,6-liter engine and a lightweight of 190 E. And in this modification, the 3.6 S Lightweight goes from 0 to 100 km / h in about 6,5 seconds and reaches a maximum output of 270 horsepower. And also a torque of 365 Nm.

Brabus E V12

The company's habit of modernizing the Mercedes Benz E-class and equipping it with a V12 engine began with the W124 generation. The W210 was available as standard with a V8 engine, which Brabus said didn't have the power needed.

So, in 1996, the Bottrop studio installed a regular V12 and "squeezed" it to 580 hp. and above 770 Nm. The Brabus E V12 has a top speed of 330 km / h and is listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the fastest sedan on the planet. Even faster than cars like the Lamborghini Diablo.

Brabus M V12

In the 90s of the last century, the rise of SUV models began, which continues to this day. The first generation Mercedes M-Class also has a very powerful version with a 5,4-liter V8 engine. And guess what? Brabus, of course, decided to replace it with a V12. In addition, the larger engine has a modified crankshaft and new forged pistons.

The result is a monster that develops a maximum power of 590 horsepower and torque of 810 Newton meters. The Brabus M V12 follows the success of the E V12 and also made it into the Guinness Book of Records as the fastest SUV in the world with a top speed of 261 km / h.

Brabus G63 6х6

The Mercedes G63 6 × 6 itself looks monstrous with its extra rear axle and large wheels. In the meantime, the production model reaches 544 horsepower and 762 Nm of torque. Which turns out to be a little for Brabus, and the tuners “pump it up to 700 hp. and 960 Nm.

In 2008, Brabus fiddled with the AMG C63 with the well-known V8 swap for a V12 engine. The twin-turbo engine develops 720 horsepower, and the car has a new carbon fiber front apron, an aluminum hood with air vents, a carbon fiber rear spoiler and a similar bumper with an integrated diffuser.
