10 types of people who play board games who are you?

Anyone who has ever played board games at least once has probably dealt with the type of players listed below. In each group of friends, you can observe at least one of the following characters. Sometimes it happens that the behavior we describe is mixed, which gives a unique effect, often the effect of an explosion. But what would a good board game be without discussion, congratulations, and arguing about the rules?

And which of these types do you represent?

1. The victim and her hard life

The victim starts the game with great enthusiasm. In the next corners, the tension builds until it ends in big drama. This person lists all the queues he accidentally missed and not the hands that must have contributed to the loss. All participants in the game are to blame for not allowing the victim to win.

Victim motto: I always have the worst!

2. Nervousness and the bitter taste of failure

Worse than victims are only nerves, which not only cannot accept the loss, but also react in an unpleasant way to their anger at other players. In the most extreme cases, it happens that such a person scatters the pieces placed on the board. Unfortunately, this is one of the most negative moods when playing board games, which is why we say a resounding NO to nerves!

Nervus motto: I WILL SHOW YOU!

3. The strategist and his ideal plan

The strategist always knows better and always knows better what move the other players will make. Throughout the game, the strategist is sure of his moves, carefully planning his moves before throwing the dice, and numerous mathematical calculations are made in his head that will lead him to victory. Life often shows that good planning does not always lead to victory, sometimes only luck is needed. When the strategist loses, he begins to check where exactly the mistake was made.

Motto of the strategist: I figured out the game and you have no chance against me!

 4. Opponent and fight like in the ring

The player is quite strict about the rules of the game. According to him, in each game there can be only one winner, and all other players are just figures standing in the way of a big win. Fun and pleasant pastime are relegated to the background, because the main goal is the same - to win and that's it.

Warrior motto: There will only be one winner!

5. Cop and enforce the rules

The policeman stands guard over order and will not transfer any deviations from the norm to his service. Each item of the rules is carefully analyzed, checked and tested for various circumstances. All players must strictly follow the rules set by the creator or producer. There is no talk of any change or simplification.

Police motto: Either we play by the rules or we don't.

6. The trickster and his sweet little lies

The crooks next to the nerves are the least desirable characters during board games. The crooks shoot from the start and try to get the upper hand. They hide additional items in their sleeves, on a chair or under their feet on the floor. When no one is looking, they draw health points or check other players' cards.

Fraud motto: No, I don't peek at all. I already drew a map...

7. Turtle and slow pace

Although almost everyone knows the fairy tale about the tortoise and the hare, but, unfortunately, the hare is not here and remains at a slow pace. Such a player always thinks about the next move for a long time, carefully analyzes the next move and often needs to be reminded that now is his move. Moving pawns, choosing spell cards, or counting - it takes years.

Turtle motto: Who is now? Wait, I think.

8. The owner of the house and a thousand other things

The owner of the house or the mistress of the house is a player for whom a thousand other things are more important than playing together. Suddenly, during the game, it turns out that you need to stir the sauce, open the window, unpack the next pack of chips, or fill the drinks of all the guests - constantly skipping their turn or making the players wait. During such a game, the phrases "No, don't" and "Sit down now" are used repeatedly.

Your home motto: Who to replenish? Open chips? Play for me now!

9. Protection and breach of rules

Lawyers are well aware of the law, which they can skillfully use to obtain any benefit. The same goes for people who know the rules of the game. The lawyers of the council are busily throwing out the next paragraphs from the instructions, mixing and bending them so that they work in their favor, but not yet in fraud.

The motto of the board game promotes: Do you know how...

10. Star in the spotlight

The star loves to win, he is like a competitor, but there is one significant difference in their behavior. Competitors only want to win and wipe their opponents off the face of the earth. The stars want fame, applause, applause and happy observers from full stands who will congratulate them on their victory for hours.

Star Motto: I won, I'm the best. Where is my reward?

This top list should be taken with a pinch of salt because in real life players sometimes have little or more of each trait. It also all depends on the type of game - behavior during a bloody battle for the throne is certainly different from family fun.
