On July 12, the 29th Motorcycle Safety Day took place in Gdynia! Automobile culture, the formation of an adequate attitude to the road, shows, incl. simulation of a traffic accident with the involvement of all emergency services, electromobility are just some of the educational aspects carried out during the next Motorcycle Safety Day, which was held for the first time in Gdynia under the patronage of the Mayor of the City.

On July 12, the 29th Motorcycle Safety Day took place in Gdynia!The event was organized by automotive journalist Cuba Belyak. The participants of the event had the opportunity to take part, among other things, in the simulation of a traffic accident, fellowship on the road, the Gdynia WOPR show in the field of first aid and safe behavior on the water, as well as the use of the Plus emergency number - 601 100 100, if necessary, demonstrations of modern technologies used in hybrid vehicles presented by Toyota Walder, Mentz Electric mobile charging stations, Blinkee city network rental and test drive procedures, presentation of bWheel ecological unicycles, friendly financial solutions, incl. when buying zero and low emission vehicles.

In addition, in the zone of the Main Partner, Bank BGŻ BNP Paribas, many competitions for children and adults were held. The Bank pays great attention to the environment and, by participating in the event, emphasized social responsibility in the field of road safety.

An important element of this year's exhibition was also the presentation of advanced systems

safety in Toyota hybrid vehicles; and environmental innovations such as solar panels that charge the auxiliary battery that powers the electronics, full LED lighting, and heat pump-based automatic air conditioning.

The show was attended by Joanna Skrent from the Traffic Department of the Gdańsk Voivodeship Police Headquarters, Tomek Kulik – Kulikowisko.pl, Piotr Kochnowicz with a team of volunteer rescuers from the Motopositive Group – Tricity and the Polish Motorcycle Rescue Fund, the Municipal State Fire Service in Gdynia, an ambulance assistance from SIM MED - Medical Rescue Service. The wreckage of the car was provided by the JARPO company from Gdynia..

In the safe zone for motorcyclists - Tomek Kulik from Kulikowisk and Motopositive - Tricity, they taught how to assess the condition of the victim, how to secure the scene of an accident, how to call emergency services and what actions to take in the event of an accident or injury, damage. In the zone of the Pomeranian Road Safety Council and the Pomeranian Traffic Center, experts who daily train and test candidates for drivers invited future drivers to brush up on their knowledge of traffic rules. PRBRD Secretary Jerzy Gura, who has been associated with Moto Safety Day for 12 years, emphasized the essence of car culture and mutual respect on the road, which is the basis of safe behavior on the roads. The organizers made sure that the participants of the event gained practical knowledge through entertainment and meetings with experts.

On July 12, the 29th Motorcycle Safety Day took place in Gdynia!The Traffic Department of the Regional Police Headquarters in Gdańsk created a special educational area for participants, including an obstacle course for children. In this zone, it was also possible to check the coordination of movements in special alcohol glasses.

The "Safe Railway City" event, organized by PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe, the Railway Transport Authority and the Railway Guard, attracted many participants who had the opportunity to learn how to behave correctly at level crossings. Numerous competitions were also held in this zone, and each visitor had the opportunity to test his reaction speed or the work of the labyrinth. These are identical tests that are designed for drivers and professional drivers.

It wasn't without adrenaline as the show on motorcycles from the champions of cross-country and enduro, as well as other riders of the Adventure Team, caused a lot of emotions. Automobilklub Morski presented rally cars and retro cars, and also noted safety in motorsport. The event was also attended by Kurort Lądek - Zdrój, which pays great attention to ecology, at the same time pointing out the attractiveness of the resort and a wide range of offers for tourists.

The musical arrangement of the event was provided by Dj Soober. Young violinists Nadia Krul and Maximilian Grzelak performed on stage, while Tomasz Dolski performed during the evening concert in a live electronic concert with Ewa Dolskaya.
